Kirishima's pov:

It goes silent, and I say briskly,

"No, we didn't."

Bakugou relaxes, and then adds,

"Do you.. like him.."

I feel my eyebrows furrow and I say,

"Bakugou."

His eyes flash to mine and he says, "I seen you guys.. you liked him, didn't you.."

I roll my eyes and say, "Your seriously bringing that up?"

Bakugou looks down and fiddles with his fingers and says,

"Because.. because I know he's probably better for you."

My eyes softened, I frown and say,

"Don't say that-"

Bakugou hugs me, and I hug him back, holding back the thoughts bouncing around my head, warning me not to dive in so fast again, but I couldn't help it,

"Nobody could ever be you, I haven't ever pictured no one else in your place."

I hear his breath hitch, and then a slow, but sickly sweet,

"I'm sorry I.. I let him take your spot.."

Every emotion drained from me for a moment.

Ouch.

"I know I'm the worst boyfriend ever.. I was confused and really, really scared Ei. You've been my only backup.."

I cough and move away from him, not able to meet his eye just yet.

I clear my throat and say, "Are you sure your ready to even start dating again?"

Bakugou nods without hesitating, which I found odd.

I add, a little more pointed towards the fact he's not doing to well and his room is still trashed, "You need to get better, and if me and you being a together again will fuck that up, I don't want to do this."

Bakugou's eyes had panic in them as he says,

"All I need is you right now. I've needed you since the day I left."

I reassured him with a soft smile and, "Alright, alright, your point has been made."

He smiles as well, and I felt warmth blossom in my chest.

I say, "You need to drink water and get some sleep, you look as if your about to fall over."

I stand and hold his hand for a moment, giving it a soft squeeze,

"I gotta go see Mina, and a friend of mine."

I clench my jaw at the thought of seeing Sero.

I'll never forgive any of the mother fuckers that took advantage of Bakugou, exposing precious parts of him that I only should have seen.

I see him look towards the door and say, "oh.."

He adds, almost too low to hear, "Isn't Mina with Sero now?.."

I reply, "Yeah, she told me they were, have been since the party."

Bakugou's face pales, and he nods.

I almost ask if he's okay or what's up, but I don't think I could handle anything negative right now.

I stand up, kissing the top of his head gently and holding his face in my hands as I say, "Your my light, you know that?"
