Pyrrha was seen battling team CRDL, the bullies of beacon, into a pulp.

"Lucky shot." Carding groaned before he passes out. Glynda walk passed Cardin's beat up body.

"Good work Mrs. Nikos" Glynda congratulated, "You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." she continued 

"Thank you, professor." Pyrrha thanked Goodwitch, which the latter look at her tablet

"Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow but we have more time for one more sparring match." Glynda said to the crowd before looking at them. "Any volunteers?" as she looks around and saw Blake reading a book "Mrs. Belladonna?" she asks which made her close her book quickly.

"You been rather docile for the past few classes" she said as Blake looks away. (Punned? you know Blakes a cat.) "Why don't you-" Glynda was about to say before two men interrupted. "I'll do it." Mercury and Nathanial said at the same time. the two men look at each other.

"Mercury and Nathanial, is it?" Glynda asks, "Yes ma'am." the two said at the same time again.

'JINX' Nathanal thought in his head. 'Why do I have a sudden feeling I'm cursed' Mercury thought in his head.

"Very well, let's begin the match." Glynda said as the two men walk in the stadium, going into a fighting stance. both had their weapons, but Nathanial knows CQC.  Team RWBY, JPNR, FAW_ and Emerald stared intently, Secretly, Emerald uses her semblance to trick the classroom and Nathanal to not see where Mercury is actually targeting, but before it gains any effect, the Ripper appeared right in front of her. Screaming at her, scaring her a bit before he disappeared, and her semblance dissipates.

the sparing begins when Mercury charge and use a back hook kick, which Nathanial easly doge and target his other leg trying to trip him when he heard a clear clang. Like Flesh hitting metal. 'So, he has cyber legs, good to know.' Nathanal thought in his head before continuing with his barrage of jabs, crosses, and kicks quickly overpowered mercury. who then stands down.

"Whoa! I'm surrender! but I got to say, you're good." Mercury said to Nathanal, who nodded his head. 'He's lucky I didn't go full power' Nathanal thought as he was going easy on him. Knowing very well he was learning from him. Next time, however, when he reveals himself, he won't be holding back. 'First rule of Art of War Pawn, Deception is key.' Mercury looks at emerald with a confused expression, to which Emerald look at him with a look

"That was a very fast meeting and Nathanal is the winner." Glynda said as they left, suddenly the alarm rang ending the class "That is all for today. And remember the dance is on the weekend, but you have your first mission on Monday," Glynda said as the teams began to leave "I will NOT accept any excuses."

"What was that?" Mercury asks Emerald, "you were supposed to use your semblance on him because he wasn't our target, what happen?"

"It was the Ripper again, He appeared in front of my face when I activated my Semblance, I had a ghastly amount of fear going in me, I couldn't focus." Emerald explained

"no one was in front of You!" Mercury whispered-yelled, then sigh as this fear Emerald had been getting worse. first it was a random appearance, now it was affecting her semblance that when she uses it, the Ripper appears.
