Ch. 4

Honey let me stay at his house with him so that I can try and feel better. The whole night Honey kept me laughing and happy, even Mori. Lots of piggy-back rides, hugs, and a kiss from Mori. (We were playing Truth or Dare. It didn't mean anything. Although, he is a good kisser.)

Around 10:00 p.m. the doorbell rings. I answer the door in my pajamas, which consists of shorts and a plain T-shirt, and blushed to see Tamaki.

"Tamaki? What are you doing here?" I ask. My heart pounds faster as he looks up and down me. Not in a weird way, but in a confused-on-what-I'm-wearing way.

He clears his throat, "Ahem, I need to see Honey and Mori." I nod and call for them. I step outside and look at him. He stares back at me.

"Hey, I'm sorry I can't go to the dance with you. I feel guilty that I turned you down. There is just someone else..." he says. Ouch. Haruhi. It's Haruhi. I look down and nod. My eyes get misty and my nose gets runny.

"Don't cry." I whisper to myself. I look back up. "No. It's cool. I-I'm fine. Don't worry." I am interrupted by a hug from Tamaki. Mori and Honey come to the door and stop. Tamaki lets go of me, whispers something to them, and picks me up. We go to his house. As he walks to his house with me in his arms, it starts to rain. It gets cold and I am shivering like a scared Chihuahua. He starts running and I close my eyes and relax at the rhythmic slaps f his feet against pavement. After a very long time, we arrive at his front door which is under a roof piece. He sets me down and we look at each other. He is as wet as me and out of breath.

"You didn't have to do that. I get that you don't like me and I have accepted that." I say. He opens his front door and we walk in. He takes my hand and leads me to his bedroom.
