Kuina, Megumi, Toge and Kamo all make it inside of the school away from Hanami as they run away from the vines that Hanami sends after them.
"Are you alright, Inumaki-senpai?" Megumi asks as he runs next to him.
"Salmon" Toge replies, comforting his first year junior.
"Here it comes" Kamo says as the four of them turn around.
"Stop!" Toge yells as the vines stop just before they can get to the four of them.
"Convergence" Kamo shouts as he holds his hands together, blood seeping through the gaps between his fingers as it shoots straight at Hanami, "piercing blood!".
Much to Megumi and Toge's surprise, the technique does a small bit of damage.
"Wow Kamo-san that was almost useful" Kuina says as the four of them look at the cursed spirit.
"Like you could do any better" Kamo says as he looks at her.
"Did you just ignore the fact that I cut its arm off earlier?" Kuina asks as she sticks her tongue out at him.
"Seriously you two, this is not the time" Megumi shouts as the two look at him.
"Hurry! It's just going to heal right away" Kamo says as they all start to run again.
They make it to a dead end as Kuina runs and kicks the wall open as they all jump outside onto the rooftop, the curse following straight after them.
"Inumaki-senpai will stop it" Megumi says as he forms Nue behind him, "don't worry, just go!".
"Sto-" Toge goes to say when blood bursts from his throat as Kuina catches him.
"Toge-senpai!" Kuina says as she holds him.
"Nue!" Megumi shouts as the curse puts its fist through Nue, forcing Megumi to let go of Nue as Nue disappears.
The curse appears next to Kamo as it punches him, sending him flying back into Megumi who tries to catch him. Kuina stands up as she walks towards the curse, bringing out Miwa's sword.
Toge-senpai wasn't using powerful words, yet the curse is so strong that it's destroyed his throat. It's just that much stronger.
Kuina imbues the sword with her cursed energy, preparing to use her paralysis technique when Toge puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Mustard leaf" Toge says as blood falls from his mouth.
"Toge-senpai" Kuina says as Toge stands in front of her, "that's enough".
"Blast away!" Toge yells as the curse is forced back into the wall of the school as Toge falls to the ground.
"Toge-senpai" Kuina says as she brings out her dart gun, "I'm sorry, but you and Kamo-san, I won't let you fight anymore".
Kuina blows two darts, one at Toge and the other at Kamo as they both fall unconscious.
"Megumi, are you ready?" Kuina asks as Megumi walks over to her.
"Let's do this" Megumi says as he pulls out another sword.
"You can't cut me with that dull blade!" Hanami says as Megumi jumps in from behind them as they hit Megumi out of the way.
Kuina comes in and throws Miwa's sword to the side as she pulls out another one and slices Hanami's eye tree off.
"Now this one isn't so bad" Hanami compliments.
"What about this one?" Maki asks as she jumps in from behind, only for the blade to be snapped in half, "okay so maybe not that one".
Maki lands next to Kuina and Megumi as they all face Hanami.
