15- Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event Group Battle 1

"We're starting in one minute" Satoru says through the loud speaker, "now, let's hear a few words of well appreciated encouragement from Iori Utahime-sensei".

"Uh, some degree of injury will be unavoidable" Utahime says through the loud speaker, "but um, now and then, help each other out or something".

"Time's up" Satoru says as he interrupts her.

"Hey, Gojo you little!" Utahime shouts.

"Now, let the sister school exchange event begin" Satoru says as the horn blares.

Both classes start to run as they're all on the lookout for each other.

"Where do you think the cursed spirit boss is?" Yuji asks as he runs between Maki and Panda, Kuina right behind him.

"It was probably unleashed halfway between both schools, but it's not just going to sit still" Panda says.

"At the time we agreed upon, we'll split up into the Megumi squad and the Panda squad for hunting" Maki explains, "we'll be counting on you and Kuina after that, Yuji".

"Yeah!" Yuji says as he salutes.

Megumi's demon dog barks as a red spider like curse appears as it asks them, "where are you going?".

"That's small fry" Panda says as he looks at it.

Maki wields her spear as Megumi's demon dog growls.

"Senpai, stop" Megumi shouts as Todo punches his way through the trees.

"Great! You're all here!" Todo says as he looks at them all, "come at me all together!".

Yuji and Kuina run at Todo as Kuina grabs Todo's arms and hold them behind him as Yuji grabs Todo's head and knees him in the face whilst the rest of the students scatter. Todo grabs Kuina and throws her at Yuji as he jumps backwards, the two of them hitting the ground.

"Nice speed" Todo says as he spits out some blood, "I'll return the favour, first years. Guard like your life depends on it".

Yuji and Kuina lock their arms together as they put a guard. The curse swings out in front of them but Todo punches through it, then punching their arms as they're both thrown into the tree behind them. Todo comes over and grabs Kuina, holding her in the air by her throat as he starts to kick Yuji in the face over and over again.

"Done already?" Todo asks as he looks at Kuina who shrugs, not bothered by the fact that she's being throttled by an absolute beast of a man, "now, let's have at it Kuina!".

Yuji grips the dirt on the ground as he chuckles before getting up.

"Are you for real?" Todo asks as he drops Kuina who walks back over to Yuji.

"You think you can just pound away at my head like that?" Yuji asks as he looks at Todo, "what if you made me dumber than I already am?".

"I don't think that's possible" Kuina says as Yuji covers her mouth.

"Don't worry" Todo says as he looks at the two of them, "Takada-chan says men are perfect when they're a little dumb".

"Do you still like her?" Kuina asks as she rolls her eyes.

"Do you still like Babymetal?" Todo asks as he looks at her.

"Hey, Babymetal is fucking awesome alright? Don't you dare compare her to your kawaii wifeu" Kuina says as she mocks Todo.

"Who are you even talking about? I don't do music" Yuji says as he wipes the blood that drips down his forehead.

"Then, how did you know they were singers?" Todo asks with a smirk, "you know who they are, don't you? What's your name, first year?".

"Yuji Itadori" Yuji says as he leans on Kuina.

"I see, Yuji Itadori" Todo says as he comes closer to the two of them, "I have one question for you. What kind of woman is your type?".

"Huh?" Yuji asks as he stands there, confused, "what's my type? Why are you asking me that now?".

"Don't worry about that I'm just appraising you" Todo says as he looks at him.

"I don't really get it but if I had to say, a tall woman with a big ass I guess, like Jennifer Lawrence" Yuji says as Todo looks shocked for a moment before he starts to cry.

"I told you you'd like him, Todo" Kuina says as she remembers how she told Todo he would've gotten along with Yuji.

"You never lost to anyone in your hometown, huh?" Todo says as he looks up at the sky, "seems like we're best friends, just like Kuina-kun and I are".

"When you just learned my name?" Yuji asks in disbelief.

"Believe it or not, this big sack of muscle is a softie" Kuina says as she looks at Todo.

Kuina senses the Kyoto students closing in as she grabs Yuji and tackles him to the ground as one of Mai's bullets flies past them. Yuji and Kuina get up as Yuji starts to run away from Kuina.

"New Shadow Style, Simple Domain" Miwa says as she draws her sword at Kuina who continues to run straight at her, "quick draw".

Miwa swipes for Kuina as Kuina flips over her and dodges her domain like it's nothing. Yuji and Kuina meet in the middle as they see all of the Kyoto students surrounding them. All of a sudden, someone claps as Yuji swaps places with Kamo and Kuina swaps places with Miwa.

"Hey, I told you I'd kill you if you interfered right?" Todo says as he appears behind Kamo as Kamo jumps away from him.

"No you didn't" Kamo says as he readies his bow and arrow, "you said you'd kill us if we ordered you around".

"Same thing, piss off!" Todo says angrily.

Kamo walks off as the rest of the Kyoto students follow him, apart from Todo of course.

"Make sure you kill him" Kamo says as they all disappear.

"That depends on Itadori and how much Kuina fights back" Todo says as Kuina and Yuji come back to where they originally were, "don't order me around. After all, I'm not an inconsiderate man who'd hold back against his best friend".

Just when the three of them thought they were alone, Miwa jumps back into the fight as she goes to attack Kuina. Kuina pulls out a staff as the two start to fight.

"As if I'd leave you on your own Todo. You know how strong Kuina can be sometimes. Best to take her out of the fight early" Miwa says as the two hit each other's weapons.

Yuji and Todo start to fight as well as they all move around the forest.

"I think I understand why you continuously fail to finish off Yuji" Kuina says as she looks at Miwa who stands opposite to her as Yuji and Todo continue to fight in the background, "so, why did you distance yourself from Noritoshi-san? Are you keeping your technique a secret from your allies, too?".

"I'm sorry about Itadori-kun" Miwa says as she looks down, "I know this is an excuse but I'm not like the others. Still, that doesn't mean I don't plan to hand victory over to my own team. You know that sorcerers advance in rank through a recommendation system, right? The exchange event is often discussed among sorcerer's without connections up the chain. Students who perform well here are granted many chances to advance whilst they're studying. I want to become independent as quickly as possible so I can earn money".

"Why?" Kuina asks with a small chuckle.

"I'm poor" Miwa says confidently as she draws her sword, "and I have two little brothers".

"Are you okay?" Kuina asks in disbelief, "are you getting along well enough with Mai? Aren't you too nice a person?".

"Huh? Probably" Miwa says as she agrees with Kuina.

"I won't hold back, you know" Kuina says with a smirk.

"Not a problem" Miwa says confidently, "that's not what I said all of that for, anyways".
