You know about that night in Godric's Hollow. The famous night everyone knows off. It was a night not only Harry lost his parents, but I did too...
12 years passed by. Yes, it's been more than 12 years since I last saw him. In all those years we maybe exchanged like 6 letters, that's all.
While Harry was left with family, our aunt, I wasn't. The Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes suggested it would be better if I moved to the far north of Europe, where several magical foster families took care of me until I was old enough to go to school. The families were nice, there were more kids, some nicer than the others, but overall it was okay I guess. Not the best, not the worst. I moved between foster homes and orphanages at least 12 times.
So, when I turned 11, I went to Durmstrang Institute. They didn't accept muggles-borns and most kids there were guys, there were like 8 girls at the whole school, which sometimes lead to a lot of rivalries, but other times was the most fun. Being 1 out of 8 makes you kind of special, gives you a connection.
Durmstrang is known for its DADA classes, which were pretty hard there. In my first year alone, I already could make a full Patronus and learned to change a boggart. The summer was the only time I had to go back to the orphanage or to a fopster home, which I didn't like that much, because Durmstrang was amazing.
Sadly, I could only attend Durmstrang for two years. Like I said before, the Ministry decided to separate my brother and I, it was better for both of our safety and would make it harder to find any of us, in case some death eaters would come for revenge, but looking at resent events, which is the escape of Sirius Black, the Ministry now found it better for the both of us to be under the safe wing of Dumbledore, apparently the strongest wizard of all time, at least that's what the Fudge told to me.
Over the summer I tried to send Harry over 20 letters, but none of them were answered. So, I guess we'll see how this turns out...
