Navigating Hogwarts

Chapter 31

The Hogwarts Express pulled out of the station the next morning. I was looking at the train arriving when I heard two voices behind me.

"Good afternoon" it were the twins.

"Fred, George" I hugged them, "long time no see"

"Always busy with your Slytherin friends, right?" Fred said seriously, but then started laughing, "I'm kidding"

"Hey, we need to hang out this summer!" George now followed. "Where are you going this summer?"

"Well the ministry assigned me into a foster house. But Pansy didn't agree with that, so I'm staying with her for a couple of weeks, until she goes on vacation."

"Why don't you come and stay with us for a while." Fred suggested. "When Pansy goes on vacation, you can stay at the Burrow. Mother would love that"

"She's already in love with you since you sent her that Christmas card" George added.

"I would love to stay. But please ask your mother first"

After everything was packed and I was ready to go, I went into the train, searching for my friends. It didn't take me long to find them since they were with almost all the Slytherins.

"Skye, here!" Pansy waved. She was sitting with Draco, Blaise and Theo.

I set down next to Theo. "Ready to go?" I asked them.

"Can't wait. I already got so many things planned out that we can do!" Pansy said excited. "You guys are coming over, right? I also invited the other girls, maybe we can have a sleepover again"

"Well, it was pretty fun last time" Theo looked at me. No one knew we kissed that night. I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

The train ride felt way too short. We were chatting, laughing and just enjoying each other's presence.

"I can't believe you won't be at Hogwarts next year" Blaise eventually said.

"I'll miss you so much" Pansy added.

"I think everyone will" Theo now told me.

I thought about it. These guys were amazing. The only reason I wanted to leave was because I was in a fight with Harry and Draco. But Harry and I are actually friends now. And Draco and I are good too. There's no reason to leave, right?

"You know what," I smiled, "I'll stay"

Everyone started cheering and Theo gave me a hug.

"Can't miss you for a whole year, can I?" I laughed as everyone was hugging me now.

"You better," when Pansy hugged me, she whispered in my ear, "who else is going to help me with Draco"

I winked at her and laughed.

The candy lady walked by and told us we would arrive in half an hour.

"I'm going to my brother real quick" I told my friends.

I found Harry sitting in a compartment with Hermione and Ron. I knocked at the door and opened it. "Hey!"

"Hey Skye!" Hermione was the first to greet me. "Sit down!"

I set down next to Ron.

"Where are you staying this summer? Maybe I can ask the Dursleys if you can stay with them too?" Harry asked me worried.

"Don't worry. I'm staying at Pansy's house for a while"

"Why don't you stay with us?" Ron suggested. "It's the Quidditch World Cup this summer! Come and stay, and we'll go and see it! Dad can usually get tickets from work. Hermione and Harry are also coming! I'm sure mom wouldn't mind, she loves you since you-"
