Just Friends

Chapter 8

Jades POV

The next morning, we were heading for Colorado. So I woke up at 5:30 and got in the shower. After my shower, I blow dried my hair and put it in a braid. Then I put onto me sweats and then woke Jack up.

After everyone was ready, we got in the limo and went to McDonalds for breakfast. After breakfast, we headed for the airport.

Once we got into the plane, I took a window seat and also say next to Jack. I leaned my head on his shoulder and fell asleep.
I woke up to Jack shaking me lightly.
"Good morning princess. We're landing soon" Jack said.
"Ok" I said getting ready to get off the plane. I checked my phone. 2:37. We still had a lot of time until the day was over.

Once we got back to the hotel, The boys wanted to watch a movie and of coarse it was a movie we didn't bring.
So I decided to go to the store and buy it.

I got in the car and started to drive to the store. It was a really stormy night.

I started to daydream about Jack and our perfect future together....
"BEEP BEEP" I heard snapping out of my dream and then everything went black..

Jacks POV

I heard sirens outside. I peaked out the window to see an ambulance speeding down the road.
I decided to call jade.

"Ring ring" no answer
"Ring ring" 2nd call still no answer.
3rd call, 4th call, 5th call, still no answer. I started to worry. until finally I got a call from Jade.
"Um excuse me are you a friend of Jades?" A mans voice asked.
"Yeah! I'm her boyfriend! Who is this?!" I asked.
"I'm so sorry but Jade has gotten into a terrible car accident with a semi truck. We are taking her to the nearest hospital."
Then he hung up. I screamed and fell to my knees crying.
"Jack what's wrong!?!?!" Jack J asked running to my side.
"Jade.. Got.. in.. a terrible.. accident and is... at the hospital." I said between breaths.

We all got in the car and rushed to the hospital. I ran to the front desk.
"Jade miller?" I asked the lady.
"She is in surgery at this minute and you may not see her. That is all that I have heard about her other then her accident with the semi truck was horrific. You may not see her until after she's completely out of surgery." The lady at the front desk replied.
Nash ran to go get us coffees. I called jades parents and they said they would get the next flight in so it might be a while. So until then, it was my responsibility to take care of Jade.

The boys took turns staying with me in the waiting room. It was 10:00 when they finally called me back.

I walked into Jades room and I saw her sitting there lifeless. Tears started to form in my eyes.
"She is still in a coma button may visit her for a while" the doctor said.
As the doctor left, I held jades hand and fell asleep crying...
