Chapter 23 Push And Shove

connor are you guys still there at the roof yelled logan into the shawns radio 

as logan stands there with no responce he looks up to the sky and sheds a single tear them grabs his rifle and marches up the stairs grabbing the injured solder and shooting his head then walking forward to the front of the store meeting with razor, marcus and shawn as they open the front door and see a line off 5 ikea workers and rory, cory, connor, john and michal all on their knees with a speacial looking solder one with a white suit of armor with red markings with a revolver along with doens of solders standing around him all with their guns drawn aiming at the survivors 

so your logan said the red solder, my name is outrider im the leader of these men youve been killing but i domt really care about your stuff and what you have i only want the people of ikea and what they have weve allready got all the people we would ever need so thats not something but we do need the solor pannels and the food and other thing but i want to make things interessting so i am gonna do something none of you probably ever thought would happen when you woke up today, i outrider will kill 6 of these annoying assholes that were gonna try to kill us and i dont except that  now im sorry but i am so fucking egger to pop 6 of these fuckers heads open like ballons on a birthday laughed outrider now here is number one said outrider as he walks back and forth between the line and randomly shoots one ikea solder Pooooooow then starts walking again and killing another 4 ikea solders till it is only cory, connor, michal, john, and rory all shaking knowing one of them is about to die without being able to say good bye 

so i think i know who i kill last if you cant already gues hes young looking almost looks like a fucking kid but i heard his name alot on the radio he sounds important i think he would be a very nice pillar to shoot so you all will crumble with him now im gonna make this one impactful so here logan come here now said outrider as logan slowly walks to connor but out of the corner of his eye a glint shimmers then a click then booooooooooooooooom a big truck holding a bunch of solders and guns explodes heating uo the bullets enough that all the bullets in the truck go flying shootimg off killing solders all around letting connor jump up and smack the revolver out of outriders hands and grabs his knife and stabs outrider in the stomach before logan gets the others up and grabs the guns and runs to the inside of the store to grab the other guns and start shooting the other solders as they get into the other trucks but then another truck explodes as logan is looking through the scope of his rifle and sees jenna and carry hiding ontop of a car behind the trucks shooting a crossbow at the trucks as logan sees carry he gets the rest of the survivors and runs to the back of the store and rushes out thr back and into the truck with everyone else pilling into the back as logan drives through the parking lot too where carry and jenna were and as logans gets to the car jenna hops down with carry and hop into the back of the truck and drives off to the appartments speeding throught the streets with everyone hugging and crying in the back of the truck 

carry you shooke the same thing that rory just said minus the whole mary thing you know cau- jenna grabs connor and gives him a kiss then grabs his hand and tells him we will never die ok we all live we live today will yesterday and we live tommorow thats how it will be says jenna then giving connor another kiss 

wheres c,j ... has anyone seen him asked shawn worried looking around the truck pacing back and forth

um shawn when me and marcus went and tried to get cover closer to the soldiers he gave us cover fire and tried to look over the counter and suppress the fire of the enemies but he got shot in the forehead we couldnt do anything but we barely knew him all he did was drive to the ally and tell us what happend and te plan he had which almost worked if we wouldve known about outrider having access to our communication maybe we wouldve had an easier time but i think ikea might be finished shawn i think u might have to abandon ikea... but you know it can always come back when this is all over you and marcus could have your own ikea he is a carpenter and i know your good with words said razor standing up and walking towards shawn giving him a hug 

im never gonna be the same ikea was the only place i felt safe i was always abbused at home and school i was made fun of but ikea welcomed me and praised me they loved me said shawn crying into razors shoulder 

we will all miss c,j even if we wont know who he really was, he got us to ikea he saved you he made sure to keep us safe even if all he did was drive and lay down fire he still died for us if he Hadden stood up and started firing who knows mabye me razor or logan could've died instead we will never know but we do know he took that for the team so did all the others who died today but we have to remember that we won we killed them only one truck got away there's no way it could fit to many probably only 20 if since they have the same type of tent thing on the back of their truck hell we barely fit man but think mabye no one would be back here if he hadnt came and got us we owe him so much that he will never end up getting said marcus giving a speech standing  in the middle of the group 

i wish he were here to see what ended up happening i know he would be proud especially of carry and jenna we owe our life to them as well they saved from death who knows if outrider wouldve stopped after connor maybe he would've grabbed the rest of us and only keep some of us and forced us to work for him may- 

wait did anyone see outriders' dead body or if he left said michal interrupting john with wide eyes looking around at the others as they all look at each other with wide eyes as they realize no one finished him off and he managed to get away 

i guess this isnt the end said rory looking at the ground grabbing his head stressing 

well that means we need to be ready if he attacks the apartments, we cant let the Ridgewood wall like we did in ikea we have nowhere else to run said shawn 

we could always go into the forest right out outside of town said carry looking at the others 

isnt there a summer camp in the north side of the forest and it has like a big lake, i think i went there as a child said connor 

oh yea i was there for a while too i loved it i thick it would be perfect for all of us we would have access to wood rocks water hunting would be easy for food we can take solar panels from ikea and use them for power and make a big freezer out of one of the cabins, there's so much we could do i thick its a good idea carry we can tell that to logan we can mark it on the map in the main cafeteria in the apartments we can have it be an evacuation zone for anyone that gets seperated if we get attacked... i hope outrider will stay away for a while i dont thick we are ready for ay more fights quite yet said carry 

well we can get ammo off the solders in ikea we can send teams to grab guns ammo and mabye more trucks like this from the back of ikea and the parts to make more mabye we can even seal off part of the ally and use it as a combat training area we have nothing else to do but grow and anticipate an attack untill then we grow said marcus

i thick were home said rory getting up and unzipping the back to the truck canopy 

its nice to be home isnt it id rather be here then have to fight outrider, good thing hes dead right guys said logan witha smile 

yea we won nothing is in our way anymore said connor
