Tuesday morning

The alarm clock on my night stand went off at exactly 5:55 am, letting me know it's almost time to get up. I hit the button hard, almost knocking it to the floor. I then turned over and drifted off back to sleep until I heard Nelly blasting.

I jumped up to see who was playing the music and it was my oh so respectful neighbor Ja. Lauren opens her blinds and seen his window was open.

"Temetrius! Yo!"

"Oh hey, Jones did I wake you up?"

"Oh no, I was about to get up and go for a four mile run"

"It's a little early don't you think?"

"Temetrius, turn that shit down! It's 5 o'clock in the morning. Why you even up so early?"

"It takes time to look this good" Temetrius smiled

"Temetrius, it is 5 o'clock in the morning, cut that shit down or I'll come over there and rip the damn stereo out of the wall. Good night sir!" Lauren said and slammed her window down

She jumped back in bed and thank God the music was down to a minimum. If you know you know those last few minutes of sleep are always the best.

-7:15 am-

I was finally up for the day. After my shower I brushed my teeth and put on a grey shirt that was tied on the sides, low rise jeans and pulled my hair back into a ponytail.

"Stephanie, if you want a ride to class I suggest you come on"

Stephanie came out her room in a Jean skirt and a halter top.

"Girl, what's gotten into you?" I asked her as we got into my car

"Nothing. I just wanted to put a little extra on"

"What's his name?"

"Why you think it's a guy—

Lauren gave her the stuck face. "Kelly" steph said above a whisper

"Huh?" I laughed a bit

"Kelly Oubre Jr bitch damn" we both laugh

"No way! I heard that's Ja's best friend"

"Who?"

"Ja"

"Girly, who is Ja?"

"Temetrius. His middle name is Jamel so ya know"

"Oooh y'all are on nickname basis now? You even know his full government"

"Don't start. He just told me to call him Ja, I assumed everyone did"

When we got to school I parked in the same spot and of course Ja was right there with Kelly.

"Hey Steph" he walked up to her door and opened it

"Hi, Kelly. This is my sister older sister Lauren"

"Hey Kelly"

"So am I not standing right here?" Temetrius joked

"Sir, I seen you at 5 this morning"

"What was y'all doing at 5 in the morning?" Kelly asked

"Together" Stephanie and Kelly said at the same time

No, it wasn't even like that" ja and I started explaining at the same time

"Take a chill pill, Laur it's just a joke" Stephanie laughed

"You know what I'm going to class, I'll see you after your volleyball practice Steph?"

"Actually, no Kel is gonna drive me home"

Lauren nodded.

As I was walking to class I had to stop at my locker and grab my notebook. "What's up Laur," Temetrius came up to me

"Jeez, you scared me" I held my chest

Temetrius laughed. "So, your taking dual enrollment biology?" He looked at my textbook

I nodded. "Isn't that college level work?"

"Yeah. If I do dual enrollment I won't have so many prerequisites to take. I see you found my MySpace"

"It wasn't too hard"

"Let me find out a big strong man like you sprung off a stranger"I said out loud and started to blush

"You the one blushing"he chuckled

Today was a B day so we had to walk to the other side of the school to go to our college prep course that all seniors had to take.

"Maybe I could call you sometimes?"

My tongue was tied up. It's only the second day of school and I have a guy asking for my number. And this guy happens to be Temetrius.

"Ya know call you to help me in my chemistry class" he added

"Oh yeah of course. You have a pen? I don't feel like going in my bag"

Right as Temetrius was going in his bag here come Kara.

"Stay away from my boyfriend hoe" she said and pulled Temetrius by his arm

"Damn man" Lauren went into her classroom
