It was the next morning. The melted snow coated the land. Juvia was still in bed, tears and mascara stains on her pillow. She buried her head deeper into it, her head throbbing. She had a Gray doll in the clutches of her hands.
Erza was in the hallway about to knock on the door to Juvia's apartment. Erza knocked loudly, waiting for a response.Juvia ignored her, sinking into her covers.
Next thing she knew, she heard the lock on her door break. That's when she knew it was Erza.
"Get out of bed. It's not healthy you know," Erza said in concern.
Juvia held her head slowly, facing Erza to see she was holding two cups of tea for the both of them. Erza handed her one and took a sip.
"Juvia is so embarrassed..." Juvia said at a low volume.
"I'm sure he won't mind. After all, he's done it before as well," Erza said.
Juvia sipped from her tea, looking deep into her beverage.
"Look it's okay, maybe he will come and visit you."
Juvia perked up from her bed,
"Gray-sama?! Visit Juvia?!""Now don't get too excited, he just came back from a six month job after all," Erza reasoned.
"Juvia needs to clean up the place!" she said seeming not to hear what Erza was saying.
Erza laughed lightly and finished her tea,
"Okay then, I'll leave you to it."Juvia frantically threw on some clothes and brushed her hair with excitement.
Erza walked out of the room with a smile on her face,
"At least I got her out of bed."-
Gray was already up and walking to his closet to find his coat. The picture of Juvia and him was sitting on top of his dresser next to his silver necklace. He opened his closet and scanned around for his coat. Gray moved back and forth between hangers, finally finding it. Gray went up to his dresser, and put his necklace on. He then threw on his coat and opened the door to leave. He glanced at the picture of Juvia and him one more time and sighed with a slight grin closing the door behind him. Gray went out into town, seeing the melted snow layer the grass. He slowly ran his fingers through it and focused on its texture.
"Gray?" he heard someone call him.
Gray turned to see Lucy standing behind him with a concerned look on her face.
"What's wrong?"
Gray stood straighter and stuffed his hands into his pockets.
"Nothing's wrong."
"You're such a liar," Lucy told him.
"Tch. I ain't lying, I'm just tired is all..." Gray trailed off.
Lucy sighed as she walked past him,
"If you say so. You should speak with Juvia. I'm sure she's at the guild."As Lucy turned the corner and kept walking, Gray was thinking to himself.
"I couldn't get any sleep, staying up thinking about Juvia. Especially seeing her in that condition." Gray thought silently.
Gray kept walking in town, looking around in the the windows of each shop. He sighed lightly out of boredom. He couldn't sleep because of Juvia and he couldn't think about nothing but Juvia. Gray shook his head, trying to shake the feeling off.
"I guess I should apologize to her," Gray concluded.
"I'll wait for her at the guild."
Gray started heading his way to the guild. His mind scrambled with many different thoughts going through.
