Erza soaked a rag in cold water and laid it on Gray's forehead.

"How the hell would I have a fever? I never get cold," Gray retorted.

"You probably made yourself sick with all this stress you're putting yourself under," Erza spoke.

The scarlet mage walked to  the coffee machine and pressed the on button, the smell of hazelnut drifted through the apartment. Gray took comfort in the smell. She walked over with the now full cup of coffee and handed it to Gray.

"Stress? Yeah right..."

Erza sighed,
"Yes stress, you and this self guilt you're putting yourself under.''

Gray stared aimlessly at the floor.

Erza sat next to him on the edge of the couch cushion.

"Juvia won't wake up, not ever," Gray shrugged.

Erza said nothing.

"First my master, then her daughter, and now Juvia...it's almost like I can't save anyone I care for."

"You saved me."

Gray turned to his red headed friend in confusion.

"I remember when I found Fairy Tail and I was always alone. I would go outside by the river and just cry until I ran out of tears. I cried because I was in so much pain. The tower of Heaven, Grandpa Rob, Jellal...you always tried including me. You knew my pain, we shared that feeling, the feeling of losing someone close to us. You were the one that made me open up. You followed me every night to that river. You never asked what was wrong, because you already knew. We would just sit there and you would let me lean against you."
Erza slowly scooted closer to Gray, laying her head on his chest.

"Just like this."

Gray lightly blushed.

"You don't destroy everything..."

Gray didn't know what to do but just put his arm around her in a light hug. There was a knock at the door, interrupting their moment.

"I'll get it," Erza said.
She opened the door to see Mirajane in distress.

"Mira? What's going on?"

"Gray hasn't answered his phone and he wasn't at his apartment, where is he?" she asked the red head.

Gray peaked his head over the couch,
''Mira what's wrong?"

She started to get teary eyed,
"It's Juvia.."

Gray's eyes widened,
"What?"

Mirajane held her arm,
"She, she...you need to go see her."

Gray quickly got up from the couch and grabbed his coat. He felt his body slightly shake,
"Good or bad."

"I don't know," Mirajane spoke quietly.

"Gray, let me follow you, I think I need to-" Erza stopped as she turned around and saw Gray run out her door.

"Let's go follow him," Erza continued.

Gray ran with all of his might, treading through the snow. He panted harder and faster as he grew closer to the guild.
"Please be okay, please be okay."

Gray slammed open the guild doors, rushing into people left and right. He opened the doors to the room where Juvia was staying. He stared out as he saw Juvia standing up.

"Drip. Drip. Drop"

"J-Juvia?" Gray stuttered.

She turned around and faced the shivering ice-mage,
"I am Juvia Lockser of the elemental four."

"What..?"

Juvia's frozen cold eyes stared back into Gray's, his heart pounding hard. Within an instant, Juvia turns her whole body into water and seeps into the cracks of the wall, escaping his sight.

"Juvia!"
