It was time for their departure  as everyone in the guild was there to see Juvia and Gray off. Juvia and Gray had both their bags on their backs as they turned to wave at them all.

"Goodbye!" Juvia waved as they walked out together.

The doors shut behind them as they started heading North on foot with their bags packed. Juvia strolled along with a happy smile on her face. She was happy to finally be alone with Gray. The ice mage held his hands in his pockets as he started to yawn. He had remembered the dream he had of her, his eyes grew vacant as he brushed his fingers through his hair. Gray wanted to forget all about it, but being with her had reminded him of it every time. Juvia looked over at Gray and knew he was thinking about something

.

"Gray-sama? Are you okay?" Juvia asked him.

Gray blinked and turned to her,
"Yea. Let's just keep going."

Juvia nodded as They kept moving forward out of town. Time flew by as the sun set and the stars shined in the night. The moon was full as Gray tried starting a fire for him and Juvia.

"Dammit, this is when we actually need Natsu," Gray said.

Juvia shivered in the cold,
"Ju-Juvia apologizes Gray-sama...Gray-sama doesn't get cold like this."

"Eh it's fine," Gray said as he kept trying to run the two sticks in his hands together.

"Juvia is only good at putting out fires..." Juvia slightly sighed.

Gray kept on rubbing the sticks together until he got angry and threw them on the ground.

"How the hell do you do this!"

Juvia shrugged as she started getting out their sleeping bags. She fluffed their pillows and laid them on the ground. Gray walked over and laid his body down on top of the soft bedding as Juvia did the same. The wind blew lightly in the night sky as Juvia smiled at Gray.

"Why you smilng like that for?" he asked her.

"It means a lot to Juvia that you would trust her to come with Gray-sama..." Juvia told him.

"No problem."

"But Gray-sama..."

"Yea?"

"Why did the master give this job only to Gray-sama? What happened?" Juvia asked him.

Gray hesitated at first to talk about it. He always tried to keep everything in. Gray never really spoke deeply about it to anyone but Natsu.

"It's okay if you don't want to tell Juvia," she said focusing on the stars.

Gray bit his lip. It was so hard for him to get his words out, but he finally managed to start.

"You already know that Deliora is a demon and it rampaged through towns and cities in the North. Mine was one of them."

Juvia was shocked that Gray started to share his past with her.

"He killed my parents, but he also stole someone else away from me. Ur, my teacher."

"Did you love her?" Juvia asked him.

"She was my teacher after all. Anyway, she used a powerful spell and it turned her into ice. That ice kept Deliora captive until his demise. It was one of the darkest days of my life."

Gray paused as he felt a hand touch his. Juvia was teary eyed as she looked at Gray.

"Juvia is so sorry."

Gray knew his face was turning pink as he tried to conceal it,
"Don't worry about it."

The sun rose as the trees swayed with the wind. Gray felt a warmth against his body. Gray opened his eyes to see that Juvia had snuggled into his chest and he had his arms wrapped around her. He grew flustered as he saw Juvia waking up. They locked eyes for a short moment as Gray pushed himself away from her.
