"Yeah. Just a bit. They'll be fine." He assured."But your mom-"
"I really don't want to talk about them right now, Jihye." He snapped. "What do you want?"
"Hyunjin, are you okay?" I asked.
"I don't know." He replied, sighing. "I'm just mad. My parents are fighting because I failed this stupid test, and you hate me, I really don't even know why you're here, i'm just mad about all of it."
"I do not hate you." I said.
"Changbin said-"
"I don't care what he said. He must've assumed I was mad. I don't care about what happened, Hyunjin, and more importantly I don't hate you." I assured.
He suddenly burst into tears.
"Hyunjin?? Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, pulling him into a hug.
He didn't say anything, but just grabbed onto me and used my shoulder as a pillow. I could feel my shirt getting soggy with his tears.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked.
He shook his head. I started caressing his back to calm him down.
Before long, he stopped crying and was just laying there.
"How about now?" I asked.
"Lia and I broke up." He muttered.
I tried my best to remain calm. "What? Why?"
"She has an arranged marriage. She's getting married in two months." He sniffled.
"Oh, Hyunjin...I'm so sorry." I said.
"And you know, I've been so out of it, which is why I didn't get a good grade, and then the thought that the person I love most might hate me just made it so much worse." He said.
"I'm sorry you even thought that. I love you so much Hyunjin. Honestly, you could shoot me in the head and you'd still be my best friend." I replied.
He giggled a bit, a small cough coming out.
"Lia loves you, you know." I said.
"I do know. And that's what makes it so much worse. She loves me, and can't be with me. She's miserable." He whined.
"Your dad has a big company. Why don't you just ask them if you two can get married?" I asked.
"We just started dating a few months ago-"
"Hyunjin, snap out of it. You've been dating for over a year. Besides, it's either you marry her, or someone else does." I said.
He groaned, grabbing into my shirt. "I hate you."
"Says the one who's practically laying on me." I scoffed.
He got up and hit me on the top of the head. "Be quiet."
"Yeah, yeah. I'm tired. I'm going to bed." I yawned, laying down on his several pillows.
"Nuh uh, not in my bed you're not. You can sleep on the floor. Or better yet, sleep in your own bed." He screeched, hitting me with one of the pillows.
"I'm too lazy. If you want me gone, throw me out of the window." I rolled over.
Suddenly he picked me up and opened his window.
"I swear to god if you let me fall I will take you down with me!" I shouted.
"I'm just playing. But honestly, I kinda want to do it." He said, patting my back and setting me on the ground.
