You were still on the lookout for a quest, running around and talking to everyone in sight.
"Y/n!" A high pitch little girl's voice yelled. You furrowed you eyebrows, it would be weird if you walked away... You turned and saw the Traveller and Paimon heading towards you.

Paimon stopped infront of you and not even a second later she gave a frightened look.
"Traveller... Her delusion!" She shouted, the blonde looked and his eyes widened when he saw the pyro delusion.
"I see you got it back Y/n."

"Yes, i did. Kaeya gave it to me when I said my goodbyes."

"I see..," Aether knew Kaeya wouldn't have.. He didn't even have them! "I'm actually happy to have run into you, where is the Balladeer?"

You raised an eyebrow, "Why do you need to know? Is it about the Delusion factory incident...?" You smiled at him softly and he stared at you uncomfortably.

"How do you know about that Y/n? You aren't actually in the Fatui.."

"Because he told me about your encounter silly, 'I gained the power of this, I can do that now!' He acts like a child who was just given a cake all to themself, it's hilarious to be honest."

"Oh, so you know about the Gnosis?"

Your smile faltered slightly, "And you do too?"

"Yes, I'm friends with some Gods."

What the hell... Why is he telling you this? He's up to something for sure.

"Wow, really? I have friends but I doubt i have any friends that are gods... Even if I did I wouldn't know. You don't go around saying that stuff."

"Y/n I need you to tell me, what exactly can he do now that he has the Gnosis?" Aether put his hands on your shoulders and you just stared at him in shock.

"Why do you think I would tell you?"

"Why wouldn't you? We're your friends Y/n!" Paimon yelled again. You could have sworn you felt a bit of sweat dripping down from your forehead. What do you do? You wanted to drop the nice girl act but you knew Aether would tell everyone... You couldn't even kill him because you want to kill Scaramouche first.

"I'm not going to tell you, he's become a really good friend of mine..." That was the best response you could think of.

"What?! But he's bad, he's killing people with delusions!! He's not a good person, we just want to take him down Y/n!" Paimon was really getting on your last nerve, they both were. How dare they ask you how to take Scaramouche down, you were going to be the one who kills him. Everyone else should stay away from your next kill...

You sent Aether an angry expression, taking his arms off of your shoulders, "He's just here to follow orders, he's the only one who protects me when I am in danger! He's even teaching me self defence..! In Mondstadt I was attacked twice! You just want me to die don't you? You don't care, you're just using me to get information on Lord Scaramouche... Fuck you!"

Aether stepped back slightly in shock, Paimon just hid behind him.
"Y/n, it isn't like that..."

"Yeah, it's not like that!"

"We haven't spoken many times in our lives.. But last time we met you asked about Scaramouche aswell," You stated, "Just leave me alone."
