Chapter 21

Jenna-
"Jared... I" I say stumbling away from him.
It felt right but so wrong.
I'm not a cheater yet I just cheated.
"What? "

"I- I can't I'm still with Sebastian. It's wrong I don't cheat!"

"I'm sorry Jen I don't know what came over me I'm sorry."

"It's okay Jared I just I'm tired of hurting people and Sebastian loves me and I love him."

"Do you love me?"

"Of course!"

"I'm confused."

"I love you Jared and I love Sebastian but in a different way more of a friend ship way and I just can't tell him because he's like my best friend and you know I've liked him like that for a while and ugh!"

"Woah! Calm down okay Jenna I love you and I want you to be happy so if you choose him I understand."
I nodded and let a tear slip.
I love him but I love Sebastian to I can't deny that.

"I'll go." Jared smiled turning around.

"Wait." I muttered.

"Yeah?"

"Just I..." Not sure what I wanted to do I kissed Jared softly one last time because In knew what he wanted for me to do but I just needed this.

"Jenna I thought..."

"I know." I say curling my fingers into his shoulder leaning my head against his.
"I just I love you and I don't want to lose you."

"You won't Jenna I'm crazy about you I'd literally bend bakwards for you and even if I can't be with you the way I want to be I will always be your friend I swear."

"You promise?"

"I promise."

"Well I think I we should do something."

"Like what?"

"Let's go bowling?"

"Geez, what is with you and bowling?"

"Well its more for the karaoke."

"I should know better by now."

"Yes, you should."

"Well do you want me to go get Jeniffer?"

"No... I think it'd be better just us."

"Oh... okay well I'll be right back I'm gonna get my phone."

"Okay."
I smile and turn to change.
I pick out a blue-green shirt and floral pants.
I put on some nude heels and cover up with a beige sweater.

I walk out of my room to see Jared in my living room.

"Wow you look..."
Jared smiled trailing off looking me up and down.

"Thanks." I blush keeping Sebastian in the back of my mind.

"Well let's go?"

"Yeah."
*At the bowling alley*
When we get to the bowling alley I notice a few people I know there.
Valerie and Lucy.(Never mentioned before)
"So Jenna I kind of invited the boys here."

"Do the boys include Sebastian?"

"Yeah..."

"Well okay just don't mention I came just straight up with Jared say that you invited the both of us I don't want him to get mad at me."

"Okay I promise."

"Thanks."
I smiled and walked over to Jared.

"So having fun?" I ask.

"Yeah, I guess wasn't expecting your friends time be here."

"Me neither."

"Well you want to go bowling?"

"Yeah..." I trail off looking at a sign for yet another karaoke competition today.

"You want to sign up?"
Jared asked smiling knowingly.

"Yeah." I smile looking at him to see if he didn't mind being alone.

"Go ahead even I can't keep you away from your true love."

I smile and walk off to the counter and sign up.

I glance towards Jared who was scrolling through his phone.

Suddenly two figures rushed towards me and gave me a huge bear hug.

I looked at the faces to recognize Noah and Jesse.

"Hey guys!" I smiled.

"Hey Jen." Jesse said glancing at the sign up sheet for duets.

"We should do one." I smiled glancing at Jesse.

"Yeah, and I have the perfect song."
*Later on*
It was currently the duet singing and Jesse and I were next.

"Jesse what song are we doing."

"Trust me you'll know it."

"Alright great job Marissa and Fionna next up Jesse and Jenna."

I smiled and sat next to Jesse as the beginning of Suddenly Seymore from little shop of horrors played.
He knew I would know this song it's my favorite song.
I immediately took in at my spot happily singing.
'No body ever treated me kindly daddy left early Mama was poor I'd meet and I'd follow him blindly he'd snap his fingers me I'd say sure.
Suddenly Seymour is standing beside me he don't give me orders he don't condescend. Suddenly Seymour is here to provide me sweet understanding Seymour's my friend.'

When we finished the song we got a standing ovation.

Sebastian gave me a hug and a wide smile.
Looking over Sebastian's shoulder I glanced at Jared longing to be in his arms.
As if he could sense me looking he flickered his eyes and met mine.

His held hurt and sadness I wonder what mine held.
When Sebastian finally let go. I kissed him on the cheek and walked over to Jared ignoring Sebastian's deadly glare.

"You did really good up there."

"Thank you It's kind of my favorite song."

He smiled.
"Broadway. Ofcourse. " He smiled with a chuckle.

I sat down next to him as the solo competition started patiently waiting for my name to be called.

Finally, my name was called and i rushed up to the the small stage.
I sat down on the stool provided and waited for the music to start.
I smiled and locked eyes with Sebastian as the song started.
'We'll do it all everything on our own we don't need anything or anyone.
If I lay here if I just lay here would you lie with me and just forget the world...'

During the song my eyes flickered to Jared and Sebastian.

This situation was all to familiar.

I stepped off the stage and waited anxiously with Jesse for the results.

To no one's suprise Jesse and I won the duet competition.
And I won the solo competition to my suprise.
Smiling I carried my trophy home as me and Jared went back to our trailers.
"You were so amazing tonight." Jared smiled.

"Thanks." I smiled widely.

"Well goodnight hope Sebastian likes that song um I mean it was obviously for him."
Jared smiled turning away and walking off.

"It was for you." I whispered walking back in to my trailer and immediately falling asleep.
