Chapter 28-

Jenna's P.O.V-
I wake up in Jareds arms and smile softly.

I love him. I think to myself.

"You awake?"
He mumbled in his raspy morning voice.

"Yup." I say scooting up.

"Can we talk?" He asked.

"Uh, sure."

He placed one hand on the side of my body and pushed himself on top of me. He looked into my eyes and smiled softly.

"Is something wrong?" I ask.

"No I just I don't want to fight anymore." He said.

"Me neither."

He kissed my lips softly before falling onto his back and reaching over to his dresser and pulling a small black box.

My eyes widened at the thought of what could be inside.

"Jenna I love you so much."

"Yeah Jared I love you too but uh were 15."

"I know this isn't an engagement ring it's a promise ring a promise of no more fights and of course if you ever change your mind you can give it back but for now I want you to have it."

I smile as he pops open the box and reveals a beautiful simple silver band with diamonds along the side and a heart in the middle with diamonds inside as well.

"Oh Jared I don't deserve you." I say with a huge smile.

"I don't deserve you."

He said kissing my lips before pulling apart.

"So?" He asks.

"Okay." I smile as he slips it on my right hand index finger.

"I love you." He says.

"I love you too but no more kisses I need to brush my teeth."

"But you kissed me like three times already. "

"So hygiene is important." I said giggling and sliding off the bed and running to the bathroom and brushing my teeth enjoying the fresh feeling in my mouth.

Two arms wrapped around me as I popped my head back up.
I saw Jared in the mirror towering over me.

He kissed the top of my head before releasing me and brushing his teeth aswell.

I slip out of the the bathroom and go back to the room seeing a text from Valerie.

Valerie- Hey, so uh you know you left your keys can I stop by and drop them off?

Jenna- Yeah, thanks.

Valerie - No problem.

I smiled slightly then it fell as soon as I realized soon enough I would have to face Jesse.

I'm such a coward.

"Hey you okay?" Jared asked coming out of the bathroom.

"Uh yeah Valerie is gonna stop by and drop off my key."

"Oh good." He says trying to look into my eyes but I looked away because tears started forming.

His smile fell and his fingers moved my head so we were face to face.

"Babe, what's the matter?" Jared asked.

My bottom lip started trembling and I tried hard to keep the tears in.

"It's okay." Jared said pulling me into a hug and rubbed my back as I sobbed into his chest.

One random thing made me stop.

I pulled apart and looked weirdly at Jared.

"What?" He laughed.

"When did you get this ring? We were fighting ish the other day

"I got it last week and I was going to give it to you yesterday but you went to karaoke and I couldn't wait so I gave it to you right now."

"Oh." I said wiping away tears.

He kissed the top of my head.

"I'm gonna see what I have here." I said walking over to the drawer were he usually put my clothes.

I bent down and I picked out a black crop top and Jean shorts.

I slipped on some black vans and put my hair in a tight bun.

"Your beautiful." Jared said appearing behind me and hugging me.

I blushed slightly.

My phone started ringing out of no where making me jump out of Jared's arms.

I see a call from Valerie.

She's probably here I thought to myself.

I answered it quickly as possible.

"Hey Jenna I'm here at the front part thingy I still don't know what you people call things." Valerie said making me laugh.

"All right I'll be right there."

I walked to the front of the set and unlocked the gates with the keys Jared let me borrow.

"Hey Val."I said hugging my brown haired friend.

"Hey here you go." She said handing me the simple gold key.

"So uh how's Jesse?" I asked shoving my hands in my pocket.

"He didn't talk the whole ride back he didn't seem pissed but he seemed kind of bummed Noah said he feels like he messed up the best thing that ever happened to him. He loves you Jenna and I know that you love him too. I know you don't want to talk to hin right now but please soon?"

"Yeah." I mumble avoiding her gaze.

"All right well I'll see you later." Valerie said walking off.

She's right I do love Jesse but as a brother as my best friend.
Gosh this is crazy I think walking back to Jared's trailer. I need to talk to Jesse.

*One day later*
I knock on the brown wooden door that led into Jesse's bedroom.
I heard feet shuffling inside and the door unlock and open revealing a shirtless Jesse.

"Jenna hi." He said looking at the ground.

"Jesse can we sit?"
I asked.

"Yeah sure." He said opening the door fully and sitting down on his bed.
I followed and sighed deeply.

"Jesse you know that I love you and care about you deeply right?"

He nodded his jaw tight.

"And I mean your amazing and of course being with you would be amazing but I know that this would be ruined and I need you Jesse I can't lose you." I said my voice cracking tears threatning to spill.

"Hey Jenna I know I know." He said hugging me tightly letting me cry into his shoulder.

"Bestfriends forever?" I mumbled into his shoulder.

"Forever."

*Back with Jared*

"So how'd it go?"
Jared asked.

"Better then I thought it would go."

"That's great." He said kissing me softly.

"I really love you." Jared said out of the blue.

"I really love you too."
