Diamonds start off as carbon,
carbon who is abundant,
Carbon who is common on mother Earth.
It takes time to become a diamond, billions of years even.
Lots of pressure applied from outside sources, cracks around you, cracks even in your soul.
Over time, you will become your own diamond.
Diamonds are unique.
People say "diamonds are perfect",
even though they completely aren't.
You and me, we are all diamonds.
We all formed on mother Earth,
from different cracks and pressures,
from different backgrounds and resources.
Even though we are diamonds,
We are "perfect" in completely different ways.

You Don't Have To Be Perfect.
PoetryJust like how no body owes anybody to be "perfect", this book consists of not "perfect" poetry by me. The poetry in this book will range from poems that I wrote for assignments at school to just poetry that I wanted to write/wrote in my free time.
