a/n: another angst.. oops

☆~~~☆

the once bright sun would soon start to set, with it the light would eventually fade from the room army hid himself away in.

he sat on the floor wrapped in his blanket with his legs tucked in and his head between them. he hugged his legs and would stay in that position, rarely moving for anything.

in his room, he had a mini garden. he grew it specifically for this special inkling, aloha. the plant represented his growing love for the boy; the boy he once held in his arms and felt the warm embrace of.

the air in armys room used to radiate joy and warmth, but now its dull and cold. the leaves that once shined with a bright green have now withered to brown and fallen destitute to the lack of care and love that was once present.

he cried and cried for days and for weeks. his pain seemed never ending and almost normal to him at this point. even with all the bitterness and sadness, his only wish was for aloha to not feel the same. to weep, to cry, to ball up and soak in endless mourning.

after the tired weeks of non stop dejection, army gets the motivation to get up and let go. he cried for too long, he allowed himself to suffer. he accepts that its time to let go. that there would never again be a second chance. he can only wish that aloha suffers less harshly.

the leaves crumble to ash, the soil has dried, the air runs cold. he feels better about everything.
