Chapter 16

*Val POV*
"Valkyrie Cain", I heard cheering in the crowd and looked over, to see all my friends jumping and cheering. They were gaining weird looks from parents but I don't think they even cared. I grinned as I took my graduation certificate. Soon enough we were all standing in 4 rows on the stage. "Ladies and Gentleman, we have one final man who has asked to say some words." Mr Hunter, smiled. I noticed Saracen whispering something in Dexters ear and I saw him grin. I gave him a confused look, but he just smiled. "Graduates of 2015," a silky voice grinned. I stared open mouthed at the extremely skinny man talking on the stage. "Time has gone by so quickly for all of you, I'm sure. But that part of your life is over! It's time to start a new chapter! Get a job, meet a beautiful partner. Tell them you love them. Don't...make bad choices. But most importantly... Do NOT give up. You can do anything you put your mind to in life. The world is your playground! Go out and live!" The crowd and stage erupted in cheers. We counted down and threw out hats in the air, throwing our years of high school with them. I ran up to the man and hugged him. "Skul!!" I squealed. "Uhh....my names Mr Daniels..." He blushed. I jumped of of him, blushing like mad. Then he grinned. "Just kidding kiddo!" He opened his arms up wide as I jumped into them. "I told you I would be here!" He laughed. I grinned against his ribcage. "Lovely speech by the way" . He smirked. "It was wasn't it!" . "I can see your ego from the bloody van!" I heard ghastly laugh. Soon enough Tanith, Ghastly, Dexter, Saracen, Erskine and Fletcher were all giving me hugs and were congratulating me. Again. "Come on! We have to go home!" Tanith complained. I gave her a funny look. "What's the rush??" The others have each other excited looks. "Nothing." Tanith said, quickly. I sighed giving up as she dragged me to the car. Fletcher tagged along. "Fletch, teleport us to Vals house" Tanith asked. He nodded and as soon as we were out of sight, he teleported us. "What's going on?" I asked, as Tanith ran around my room. She paused. "Okay......so I wasn't supposed to tell you but... WERE HAVING A GRAD PARTY TONIGHT!" She yelled, jumping up and down. I giggled and joined in with her jumping. "We have to get ready!" She cried. I nodded as we both flew around my room, looking for clothes.
