INT. HALL OF THE ROYAL PALACE - NIGHT
Tybalt is wearing a black suit with golden embroideries on the jacket as he's coming down from the stairway. A crowd of subjects is looking at the scene. When he reaches the bottom of the stairs, they applaud the king tepidly.
TYBALT: Good evening. Tonight, as you know, you're all my guests, so I bid you welcome to the palace. You attend the balls more enthusiastically when there's a banquet than when you have to support me as a sovereign. (more)
The subjects stay silent; some of them wince.
TYBALT (CONT'D): But tonight, I don't want to talk about politics. I want to talk about the other special guest at the party besides you, obviously: my sister Isabel. Isabel is a little pest, and sometimes she's irritating. We fight almost every day, even for the most stupid reasons. Every brother fights with his sister. It's normal. But she is so unbearable that I'm sorry for who, will choose her as a wife someday. But I'm even more sorry for who will not choose her. Isabel has a big heart, she's smart, and studious. She is a good royal, and, most of all, she's a good girl, and if you are mean to her, I swear, I will exile you and set fire to your houses and material goods. (more)

TYBALT (CONT'D): I'm not kidding. However, after saying these words, I'll introduce her. Here is... Lady Isabel.
The orchestra starts playing an instrumental song.
Isabel comes down from the stairway. She's wearing a long and wide black dress, and the top of it involves silver elements. The elaborate hairdo and the precious necklace give her an adult and royal appearance.
HERVY (to Hérique): Hérique, what do you think about Lady Isabel? Do you think she's pretty?
HERIQUE (unfocused): Yes... She doesn't look ugly...
In the meantime, some subjects are leaving the hall to go back to the ballroom.
HERVY (in a low voice, to Leo, in a sarcastic tone): "Yes, she doesn't look ugly". It is so promising!
