The plan was simple. Stark, Steve and Peggy take a plane and fly behind enemy lines. Steve will jump out and sneak into the prison, free the prisoners and all of them will make a daring escape. Well maybe not so simple.
Steve sat across from Peggy in the back of the plane which Stark piloted it. He was wearing his performance costume, tights, boots, shield, the whole 9 yards. He had even stole the A helmet from one of the chorus girls to complete the look.
"The Hydra camp is in Krausberg, tucked between two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind," Peggy yelled to him over the roar of the engines.
Steve looked down at the map he was holding, "We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep," Stark informed them from the front of the plane.
"Just get me as close as you can," Steve turned to Peggy, "You know, you're both going to be in a lot of trouble when you land," Steve was very worried Peggy and Stark would be punished for defying orders upon their return.
"And you're not?" Peggy couldn't believe he was more concerned for her than his own safety when he was about to sneak into an enemy prison.
"Yeah, but where I'm landing, if anybody yells at me, I get to shoot them," Steve grinned, trying to bring some light to a very grim situation.
"They're undoubtedly going to shot back," Steve couldn't deduce what kind of look she gave him, perhaps one of pity or concern, maybe even admiration.
He motioned to his shield on his back, "It's got to be good for something," but he doubt it could stop bullets.
"Agent Carter, if we're not in too much of a hurry, I thought we'd stop in Lucerne for a late night fondue." Stark turned to Peggy and grinned.
Peggy rolled her eyes, tired of his antics. Steve looked between the two of them, trying to piece together the situation. "Why is he saying "fondue" like that? What's fondue?"
Peggy ignored both of them, "Stark's the best civilian pilot I've ever seen, and mad enough to brave this airspace. We're lucky to have him,"
Steve was still confused by what Howard had just said, "Do you, are you two...fondue?"
Peggy continued to ignore him, "Take this transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us right to you," she handed him what looked like a walkie talkie and had the Stark Industry logo on it.
"You sure it works?"
"It's been tested more than you have," Stark swooped in quickly to defend his technology.
Suddenly the plane began to shake as it was hit by anti-aircraft guns. Steve stood up and quickly threw on his parachute. He turned and opened the door, the guns shots grew deafening and white flashes appeared outside.
"Rogers, get back here. We're taking you all the way in!" Peggy yelled over the roar of the guns.
"Once I'm clear, turn this thing around and get out of here!" He yelled, it was his turn to ignore Agent Carter.
"You can't give me orders!" Peggy yelled at him.
"The hell I can't!" He positioned himself of the jump, "I'm a captain!"
And with that he jumped out of the plane and into enemy territory. Peggy stood at the door until she saw his shoot release. She swore under her breath, praying he would complete his mission.

Steve had landed safely and was currently hidden in the foliage next to the main gate to the prison. Trucks rolled by past him and an idea came into his head.
