Chapter 6

No one's POV

The room was silent and the air was tense. For upon hearing Jordan's idea for helping the experiments avoid being killed by Harold. Everyone was both shocked and bewildered on how the soldier was going to pull this off and why.

Jordan stood there against the railing with a smile on his face. The man was proud for his idea, but when David's concerned voice filled his ears he glanced over to listen to his friend.

Jordan's POV

David: "Jordan that sounds great and all, but how do you plan on getting them out?" He asked concerned. " The only way for them to get out is those main doors that lead to the training area, and the way to open them is with level five security access. Then there's the fact of the several dozen patrols that will most likely shoot them on sight." He said plainly.

Jordan looked around his little circle of friends thinking hard about how he was going to pull this off. He figured Harold will most likely try and terminate the experiments soon, so he could start a new batch of them. Which meant he had to act fast, and given his injuries he wasn't functioning at full capacity yet.

After thinking for a second he looked up at them all and said.

Jordan: "David and I can force the door operators to open the door from the viewing center, once complete you all "he said while motioning to the experiments." Runn through as fast as you can and make your way into the mountains." He said plainly.

Luna: "But, what about you two? Surely once they discover what you did Harold will try and hurt you or worse." She said sadly.

Coral: "And what about Luke, they will certainly come after him as well."

Jordan looked to the experiments and with a warm smile said.

Jordan: "You won't have to worry about us we can find our way out, and as for my son." He said looking down to his boy. " You will take him with you. That way he will be protected, and I can focused on just David and myself "

The experiments were slightly shocked to hear this, and Brutus leaned forward and said.

Brutus: " You would trust us with your son like that Jordan?" He asked plainly

Jordan looked at the massive hellhound then motioned to Luke to move back to the railing. Seeing his father's command the boy did so and waited to see what was next.

Jordan: " Brutus please take up my son." He said simply.

Brutus was again taken back. And looking to the boy who held and excited smile he slowly reached out to the child. He constantly looked between the two humans looking at their expressions. And soon his fingers came to gently wrap around the young boy, and he gently lifted him up into the air and brought him to his chest.

Brutus kept looking at Luke and watched the boy bury himself into his thick black fur almost disappearing into it.

Jordan: " Brutus until I reunite with you all. I want you to care for my son." He said simply.

All the experiments looked to Jordan with a shocked expressions.

Coral: "Jordan, you would really leave Luke with us?" She said shocked.

Jordan: "I will, 'cause like I have said in the past I trust you all, so now I'm putting that trust to the test." He said simply.

Luna: "Thank you Jordan." She said happily.

Draco: "Indeed, we are grateful for this trust "

Brutus: "And I swear I will protect Luke with my life," he said sternly.
