——It had been a few days. I managed to convince Crowley to have Emily and I work separately from each other. For some reason Ace hadn't reported the incident to Crowley, as far as I know anyway. Emily was now sweeping Main Street while I took on dusting and sweeping the hallways. That means I clean during class hours.

Which also means I tend to catch students skipping class. Crowley gave me authority to punish any students who dare stray from the path of intense education. Apparently even in this dimension they have things to smoke. I wonder what how those kid's lives are going to go...probably not a good path.

Anyways, moving on to present times:

"You wanna tell me why you're skipping class?" I asked the infamous red-head. He trembled underneath my gaze. I was pinning him against a wall, just so he couldn't run away. He certainly got medical treatment. You could hardly tell he was injured in the first place. A bandage was wrapped around his nose, I guess I really did break it. Bad enough it needed a cast. Damn. "I-I was just trying to use the bathroom!" He stammered. An obvious lie, seeing as he didn't have a proper pass.

"I have authority from Crowley to give you a punishment. Seeing as I had to clean up your blood a few days ago I'd say you owe me." I snarled. This guy had pissed me off, not to mention the amount of sheer rage Emily had given me over the past few days. I see why Reed had no problem saying goodbye to her at the ceremony. I wonder how they're even related.

"—Therefore, I'm going to give you a window-scrubbing punishment. 100 windows scrubbed in the cafeteria." I let him go, but turned back to face him. "Oh, and if you even consider ducking out of your punishment I will hunt you down." He shuddered at my glare before running off. Hopefully back to class.

I walked off, busying myself with cleaning. Grim walked out from a corner. "No other students skipping today. I guess murdering a mouse in front of them freaked them out enough..." Grim shuddered at the memory. Sometimes you have to set boundaries by example...and the rodent happened to be scurrying by. Grim got lucky that day.

"Ace tried skipping today. Gave him a window-scrubbing punishment. I figured I could lay off a little after breaking his nose." I stated and Grim gave a firm nod. "He deserves it for daring to mock such a powerful sorcerer and his hench-maid!" Grim boasted about himself. I wonder how Emily was doing. Probably not well.

I'll be waiting for Ace in the cafeteria after school. He better be there...or the nurse's office will be busy again...with two patients instead of one.

——"I'm already exhausted from a full day of cleanin'. I can't believe we still gotta watch someone wash a hundred windows!" Grim whined, sitting beside me on a cafeteria bench. "Try and learn from this experience. Maybe you'll finally be able to utilize those small legs of yours and properly clean the corners." I snarled. I was already having a terrible day, this was the rotten cherry on top. Ace was late.
