——"So this is the Dwarfs' Mine... Long ago, this mine was flush with magestones." Deuce informed as we walked. "Urgh... Who knows what lurks in there now?" Grim shuddered. "Look, I can see a house. Let's see what the people there have to say." Ace said. "Ace, nobody is fucking in there." I snarled. "And how would you know that?" He asked, a cocky smirk on his face. "Oh I don't know, maybe because both the windows are broken and the door is barely on its hinges?" Ace angrily grumbled in response.

"Hellooo? Is anybody home...? Must be empty. It looks like it's been abandoned." Deuce knocked on the doorframe as we entered. "Bwah! I got a spider web on my face! Ptchoo! Ptchoo!" Grim sneezed. "Look how tiny these desks and chairs are. Did children live here? One, two... Seven! It's like a clown car in here." Ace mused. "Pretty sure dwarves lived here. Since it's called the Dwarve's Mines." I scowled as a pile of dust touched my fingertips. This table is disgusting.

"When the mine was flourishing, this house must have been a lively place." Deuce concluded. "Well, this isn't getting us anywhere. If we're gonna find a magestone, it'll be inside the mine. Let's head inside and take a look." Ace started leaving. Deuce, Grim, and I followed behind.

"You wanna go inside THERE? It's pitch black!" Grim shivered. "What, are you scared of the dark? Pathetic." Ace mocked. "Myah?! I'm not scared of anything! I'm taking the lead. You all follow me!" Grim marched right inside. I didn't really take Ace for the manipulator type.

All of us walked inside only for Deuce to come to a stop. "Huh? Hold up!" He exclaimed. "What now?" Ace sighed. "There's something there!" Deuce pointed deeper into the cave. "Myah?!" Grim shrieked. "Hee hee hee hee! Visitors! The first in ten years!" Oh great, more ghosts. "Do make yourselves at home... You can stay forever!" Another chimed.

"More ghosts?! They're floating around here too!" Ace shrieked. "If we stop to fight, we'll never get anywhere. Let's just keep moving." Deuce ordered. "Sure, but don't act like we voted you team leader. The only reason we're here in the first place is because of that stupid stunt you pulled." Ace snarled. I don't get paid enough for this bullshit. I let out a exhausted sigh.

"Oh? I'm pretty sure this all started because you tried to shirk your window-cleaning punishment!" Deuce argued. "Guys! We're in real hot water, remember?! If we don't come back with a magestone by morning, we're all being expelled!" He added, panic laced within his voice. "Yeah, which is why we don't need you ordering the rest of us around. It gets old real fast." Ace scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"Okay then, Ace. You can follow whatever rules you like, but if you wanna do that you can say goodbye to us because we are not going to stand around and listen to you complain just because you have a fucking opinion on everything." I snarled, glaring down the red-head. "Fine then, I will!" He crossed his arms. "Come along Deuce, maybe once Ace decides to shut his mouth he can join us." Deuce followed my lead as I took him deeper into the cave, leaving Ace behind.
