"HEY Y'ALL." MALLORY SAID AS SHE WALKED DOWN THE STAIRS.
All 4 boys looked at her confused and slightly scared. "What? Do I have something on my face?" She asked confused as to why they were all starring at her.
"You were the drunkest of all of us how are you not hung over?" Conrad asked from the couch
"I'm magic." She said happily
"Just sit for your portraits," Laurel continued her conversation she was having before. " I don't see Conrad complaining."
Jeremiah gave him his so called 'hang over smoothie' "he'll complain when he's concses ."
"I don't know why you guys are complaining," Mae said to them as she sat next Laurel on the kitchen counter and Jeremiah slid her a cup of coffee "I love getting my portrait done."
"Of course you do." Greyson said with an eye roll
"Not everyone has the attention span of a rock and can't stay still like you grey." She said with a sarcastic smile, he rolled his eyes and flipped her off.
"Those old country club boomers are gonna top me so hard they not gonna know what hit 'em'" Steve said as he humped the air
"For the sake of everybody on earth, never do that again." Mallory told him with a disgusted look
"Cmon Mae, my boys gotta get his bread." Jere said with a smile making her roll her eyes as belly walked in
Mae was focused of her phone for a few minutes texting her friends from home when Susannah came into the kitchen.
"The girls are gonna be debutantes." She said excitedly as she held their invitations in her hands.
"It's really not that big of a deal." Belly said as Susannah hugged them both
"I'm sorry belly? Like my sister? Like THAT THING?" Steven said incredibly dramatic.
Mallory store at the cereal Jeremiah had put infront of her a few minutes prior until Susannah said, "which one of you is gonna take the girls."
"Not me," Conrad said from the couch "I went last year."
"Yeah I swore off balls." He said with a grin Susannah looked at him slightly annoyed
Mallory was upset but she did show it at all, he had answered her question from last night. She should have know better than to get her hood up over it.

Susannah had insisted on taking the two girls shopping, they shopped and shopped and shopped until their feet hurt.
Mallory was dreading the part where she had to try on the dresses. Not because she didn't want to but it all kind of hit her at once.
