'yes! I can finally live out my princess dream!'

Tapping her foot, the metal clanged. Her short fingers stuck through the holes of the fire escape, her head rocky side to side. "Come on, Klaus." The ginger grumbled, shifting position, sitting on her knees, peeking through the fogged window. A gasp fell from her when a figure that wasn't her chaotic friend entered the room, she forced herself back against the rough wall, out of sight. "Oh, shit." She heaved in a breath, shutting her eyes.

"Mind telling me why you're creeping through my window?" A burst of blue summand before the girl as the mocking voice spoke.

"Ah!" She let out a welp as her body disappeared.

The boy, who had just teleported, rolled his eyes, "Max, I already saw you, no need to go invisible."

"Crap." She brough herself back, "I didn't mean to go invisible, you scared me. And it's Echo, not Max. I hate that name."

"Why do you think I call you it?" He smirked, leaning towards her, "Max."

"You suck." Echo huffed, crossing her arms, standing so she could at least be slightly closer to his height. "Where is Klaus?"

"How should I know?" Five scowled down at her, furrowing his brows.

"You're his brother, aren't you?"

"Duh, but that doesn't mean I keep a tracker on him."

"God, you're useless."

"Says the girl who can't control her power."

"Screw you, and it's 'power's', plural." The red-head turned to the window, trying to open it.

"You have to open it from the inside, I keep it locked."

"Paranoid much?"

"Stalker much?"

"I wasn't stalking you, Klaus told me to wait here." She closed her eyes, focusing on her right hand, aiming it for the glass. She let out a hiss as her knuckles smack the hard material.

"Come on." The boy let down his angry exterior, snatching her forearm, jumping them into his bedroom.

"Dear lord." She teetered, clutching her stomach as nausea built up, "I hate when you do that."

"Well, if you want, I could of left you outside in the freezing cold and went on with my day." He flashed her a sarcastic grin, grabbing his equation note-pad, "Be grateful."

"Whatever...Thank you, I guess." She reached over, taking the book from him. "Uh-uh." She stole a pencil from the desk behind her, rubbing out his mistake. "That's wrong, it's 76.895, not 76.893."

"What?" His eyes widened and he check over her shoulder, "Huh? How did you know that?"

"I like numbers." Echo shrugged, handing him the pencil and turning to the door, "You know where I am if you need help with your equations."

"Pft, help." Five bit his cheek as she left, nostrils flaring as he had never had someone correct him before when it came to equations.

Echo whistled, dragging her finger down the wall, making her way to Klaus's bedroom. The evening was soaking in, the halls draining of their saturations. It was a haunted atmosphere, it gave the girl goose bumps as the feeling of the cool reaching out for her arms unsettled her. "Klaus?" She arrived at his room, knocking gently at the door, "Klaus?"

"Come in." A grumbled sounded through the wood.

Opening the door, the ginger peeked at the sight of her friend near passed out on his bed, "Rough day?"

"Tiny!" Klaus immediately perked up, motioning for her to lay with him.

"Klaus!" Echo rest beside him, arms linked with his, "I was waiting at the fire escape."

"Oh, crap, sorry." He rolled over, snuggling himself into her shoulder, "It slipped my mind."

"That's alright." She brushed her hand through his hair, "I had a great chat with you're brother."

"Man, Diego can be a handful sometimes-..."

"No, not Diego. Five."

"Five? You actually spoke to him." Klaus raised his brows, "I thought he only communicate through grunts."

"It's more like a whining." chuckled Echo, shuffling closer, "But yeah, he called me 'Max', mad fun of my ability to use my powers, then I corrected his equation and he got all hot and bothered in the face."

"You do have a death wish, don't you?" He leaned up, "Correcting the poor boy equations? they're all he's got."

"Well, then they should of been wrong." The red-head pushed herself up, stalking over to the bed, flopping forward, "I'm sure he'll live."

Klaus flipped her over so she was laying on her back, getting cuddled up at her side, as they door flew open with a bang. Echo, in fear, turn invisible. "Having fun with your girlfriend." Diego teased Klaus, cheeky grin smudged on his face.

"Who?" Number four peered around at the empty room.

"I know she's invisible, dumbass." And with Diego's confession, the ginger reappeared. "Hey, Red."

"Hey, Diego." She flashed him a smile as he neared the bed, plopping down on her other side. "I'm guessing by the frowns and the bags under your eyes, training was rough today."

"it was the worst." Number Two puffed, "Class was boring as hell. Where were you?"

"My parents are out for work, so Ii took a break today. I can't listen to Sir Hargreeves without passing out so it's not like I would of learnt anything."

"Yes, but today, due to the lack of your distributions, we had to actually learn things. It was gross."

"Aw, to much work for you tiny brain, Diego?"

"Oh, hush."

"Oh!" Klaus perked up, spooking the other two, "You're going to like this, Tiny. Daddio is making us take dancing lessons."

"Yes! I can finally live out my princess dream!" Echo beamed, throwing herself up, pretending to dance around the room with a partner.

"You're seriously excited for that torture?" Another sibling joined them, leaning against the doorframe.

"Hell, yeah I am!" The ginger stopped her prancing, slapping her sides, "It boring classes day after day, then we fight and race each other, practice are abilities, then do homework for the boring classes. I need something to spice up my day."

"Of course you'd enjoy it." Five chuckled, sourly, "You tend to like insufferable things. Like my brothers, for example."

"I don't like you." The girl threw herself back in-between her friends, tilting her head, "And you're the most insufferable thing I have ever seen."

"You're the worst." The bitter boy skimmed his hand over the door-frame, back down the hall.

"Love you too, buddy." She yelled after him, teasingly before lowering her tone into a mutter, "What an asshole..." Due to her riled up state and the angry glare she held on her lap, Echo missed the look that Klaus and Diego shared behind her back, both sharing the same thoughts. "Anyways...Who want to sneak out to Griddy's?"

Both of them stood in a haste, "Me!"
