"hey sorry we're late" lip pants. him and molly just ran from her house to the school in less then 15 minutes.
"it's okay. here I brought you a shirt" fiona says
"okay"
"okay. now listen up. we are gonna stand united and show them we are a family that is thriving. including molly and gabby who are gonna vouch for us. oh and molly u need to pretend to be a really great babysitter for carl in there," fiona tells everyone "you got it?" let's go,"
"yup"
fiona and lip sat down infront of the principal and carls teacher while molly stood behind them.
"this is it" the principal asks
"this is his brother. and babysitter who's basically family" fiona tells him.
"uh phillip. very good to see you again sir" lip greets
"and molly, nice to see you again" molly says
"uh phillip and molly are 17, i'm 21. uh, while we may not be the lgal gaurdians of carl. we do supply-" fiona starts but gets cut of by the principal "i told you i wanted to see a parent"
"we just opened the letter today" fiona responds
"i gave carl the letter last week" the teacher exclaims
"so you're relying on a 9-year-old to deliver important correspondence?" lip questions
"you don't seem to have a home phone" the teacher retorts
"carl is taken care of at home by loving siblings and a great babysitter who he loves," fiona says
"this is not up for negotioation. your brother is on the verge of being expelled. and unfortunatly, there are steps the state requires to be taken before he can be bounced. and a meeting with his legal gaurdian is the next step" the principal explains
"please, you can't do this. i mean, he loves school" fiona pleads
"more potential vicims here, i suppose" the teacher scoffs
"no, all his friends are here" lip says
"yeah he always comes home telling us how much fun he's had with his friends here" molly adds
"he needs more structure, we know" fiona says causing the principal to laugh "what carl needs is medication, a near death experience, or a lobotomy"
"he's only nine cut him some slack" molly argues
"that doesn't exuse his behaviour" the teacher retorts
"i'm sorry. i'm placing a call to social services. a home without a legal gaurdian is a home we cannot condome" the principal tells them
