Stephen walked through the streets of New York City, and couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He had been feeling like something was off lately, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen.

Suddenly, he saw the person he was always worried about - you, his ex-girlfriend - falling to the ground. Without a second thought, he rushed to her side and caught her in his arms.

As he lifted her up, he couldn't believe what was happening. She was unconscious, and he had no idea what was wrong. There was no reasoning for her to have just dropped like a sack of potatoes in the middle of New York.

He carried her back to the Sanctum and laid her on the couch, his heart racing with fear. "Please be okay," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I can't lose you. I love you."

As he examined her and ran a series of tests, he couldn't hide my panic. He was terrified that something was seriously wrong with her, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing her. It wasn't a possibility.

As the minutes ticked by, he held her hand and prayed to whatever gods were out there for her to wake up. He begged the universe to give her back to him, to give them a second chance.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, her eyes fluttered open. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with confusion.

"Stephen?" she said, her voice weak. "What happened? Why am I here?"

As he looked down at her, tears streaming down his face, he knew that he had been given a second chance. She was alive, and she was going to be okay.

"You fainted," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "I was so worried about you. I love you. Please don't ever scare me like that again."

As she looked at him, her eyes filled with love and understanding, he knew that he had found my true partner in both love and healing. He was eternally grateful to have her by his side, and he knew that he could count on her to be there for me no matter what.
