Monday 09.01.23, At school 🏫
I tried messaging Kay in the morning so we could walk together from the deli like we normally would, but he didn't respond.
This was really weird for Nami because Kay would always reply to her, and if he didn't, there would always be a reason
Nami walked into the red, polished double doors with bullseye targets going horizontally across the middle. She was pretty known in the school, mostly by girls and boys both in her grade and the one above, so it was normal to get smiles and waves along with screws and dirty looks.
I mean, I was dating the lengest guy in the school after all 🤷♀️
But anyways, I went over to where Kay and the boys would normally chill and there they were
"Kay!" I said walking over to him, but I couldn't quite see him fully "Why didn't you resp—"
"We were talking" A brownskin girl, with long silk pressed hair said staring blank at me
As she said this Dougie and Cblu both made the same face, sticking their lips out and raising their eyebrows at the bravery of the girl
It was Ari.
"I don't gaf. And watch how you deadass needa watch ya hands and that mouth, ion know who tf you.." I said and got interrupted
"Oh shit, my fault. I didn't know you was the girlfriend, i'm so sorry" She said holding her face in embarrassment "You're really pretty by the way" She added
"thank you?" I said bluntly but it sounded like a question
"This exactly why ion like bringing you around people, you mad disrespectful" Kay mumbled shaking his head.
"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that" I whispered, flicking my hair to the side "But anyways where was you this morning. You were meant to meet me"
