Now they were in the underworld, where the two knew Anakin would be, somewhere.
Barriss hadn't asked anyone for permission. Not that they needed it, they were both Knights and could do as they wished unless called upon by the council for an assignment.
So far, nothing.
They been asking around, security and clones alike, none of them had seen Anakin anywhere.
There was one time they said they had gotten a call of Anakin sighted at a train station, but that he had escaped.
So back to square one.
Nahdar was on his comlink trying to call Flora, whom Barriss felt would want to be helpful in this situation.
He quickly got through, and Flora's voice was a welcome one.
"Oh, Nahdar. Why are you contacting me?"
He shrugged.
"Barriss and I are investigating Anakin's situation down here in the underworld, we thought perhaps you'd want to help."
Flora said nothing for a minute.
"Ok, where are you?"
Nahdar nodded.
"We're on level 13-11."
"Alright, I'm already on my way, though from where I am it will take me a while to get there. I'll be there later though, Flora out."
The transmission ended. Barriss walked over with a sigh.
"And now we wait."
"As always."

Turns out, it took Flora about 35 minutes to get there. They knew it would take a while, but Barriss felt she shouldn't have taken that long.
Flora was here now nonetheless. Dressed in black robes.
"Barriss, Nahdar, good to see you."
Nahdar seemed to be looking over her attire for whatever reason.
"Likewise."
He rose from where he was sitting.
"Now that there are three of us, why don't we make a plan?"
Barriss nodded.
"Always best to make a plan."
Flora nodded as well.
"I already have one."
Nahdar looked at her in question.
"Really? That's very...thorough, of you."
Flora just rolled her eyes, though Barriss shrugged.
"Master Luminara once said 'it pays for one to be prepared'."
Flora nodded to that and then spoke.
"Ok, Nahdar, you'll split off from us when we get down to level 13-12, and go look for Anakin, and Barriss is with me."
Barriss looked at her in curiosity.
"Why?"
"Well, the reason it took so long to get here is because I found a lead."
"Really? What's the lead?"
"There's an abandoned Warehouse. I've yet to search inside, but when I got close to it, I got this feeling, a feeling that says that this warehouse is the place to look."
Barriss was actually a bit curious why Flora hadn't mentioned this earlier, but any lead they could get.
"Ok, so we search the warehouse then. Nahdar, we best get going."
