Chapter 17

Sasha's POV
"So how did your date go?" I inquired while Mikasa blushed madly.
"It was...good..." she finally said.
I squealed in excitement as I kept pestering her about it. I honestly couldn't believe that they had gone on a date already. They grew up so fast! If felt like yesterday they were just little kids. Little kids with a huge crush on each other. Now though, they actually had the guts to ask each other out.

Mikasa eventually blushed so much that I think I broke her. She just curled up in a ball, and didn't answer anymore of my questions. Every time I would ask something she would just ignore me and blush harder. What the heck was she even thinking about?
Armin's POV
"Did the date go good?" I asked Eren. We had decided to meet up since he needed advice on Mikasa and I really wanted to know what had happened. He sat in the chair across from me, looking down while slightly blushing.

"It went good... I think she liked it..." Eren finally replied.
"That's great!" I exclaimed, "At least it's a start? You need to ask her out on another date though... maybe to the festival?"
"Oh right the festival is coming up!" Erens eyes gleamed as his head filled with happy memories at the festival.
"I meant like taking Mikasa to the festival... not just you having a good time." I calmly explained. I sighed, he really didn't know how to go on or even plan a date with a girl. I had to direct him every step of the way. I guess that's okay though, because he's just a hopeless romantic.
That day we started thinking of ideas on what we could do. He seemed to really like the festival idea so we stuck with that. It didn't really need that much planning though, because if they were going to the festival there's a lot of things to do. After lots of planning, with how he's gonna dress what flowers to give her(all of that stuff) I soon left it in his own hands. Even though there wasn't much to do since he ended up just deciding to take her to a festival.

Eren's POV
I sat down and sighed. I couldn't believe that I was already asking Mikasa on a second date. I honestly couldn't believe that she actually liked the first one. I sat up as I started typing in my phone.

Eren: Hey Mikasa

Mikasa:Hey  Eren, what's up?

Eren: I just wanted to ask you something...

Mikasa: Sure, what did you wanna ask?

Eren: Are you...perhaps free on Sunday?

Mikasa:Yeah! I am...

Eren:Okay then... would you like to go to the festival together?

Mikasa:Sure! I would love to!

I squealed in excitement as I reread the texts over and over again. I couldn't believe that she said yes, I had big plans for this date. I also had the perfect spot to hang out.

-The festival-

I scanned the festival, looking for Mikasa. I was wearing short pants and a matching short sleeved jacket. Armin had chosen this for me, he was teaming up with Sasha and Annie. Armin was going to pick out my outfit, and Sasha and Annie were going to get Mikasa dressed up. I stood by a small stand, the wind brushing through my hair. I nervously paced around, I didn't know what to do. What to say. It was the most nervous I've ever been.

-Mikasa's POV-

"All done!"Sasha finally exclaimed as I turned to see what I looked like. I was wearing a dark red yukata with a flower pattern on it. Some simple makeup was applied to my face. I smiled as I saw my appearance before thanking the two ladies.

"Alright! Time to go. Armin texted me that they're there." Annie called out as she checked her phone. Sasha then proceeded to push me downstairs and out the door. We all hopped into the car, Annie driving, Sasha in the front and me sitting in the back. We soon got there since my house was only about 5 mins away from the festival.

"We're here!"Annie called out to Armin.

"Oh hey girls! You guys look great!"Armin said as he walked up to greet us.

"Oh, thanks. Where's Eren though?"I asked.

"Oh... He's looking for you, I think he went somewhere over there."Armin replied as he pointed to a row of stalls.

"Ok, thank you!"I yelled as I took off into the busy crowd. I scanned the crowd, and soon found him. Eren was usually really easy to find in big crowd since he's so tall.

"Hey Eren!"I exclaimed as a tapped him on his shoulder.

"Oh, hey!"Eren turned around to see who had tapped him on the shoulder.

-Eren's POV-

"Oh, hey!"I turned around to see who it was, "Hey, Mikasa... You look really pretty!" I turned away so she wouldn't see I was blushing.

"Thanks..."She finally said after a moment of silence, "What do you want to do?"

"Hmm... I don't know... Is there anything you wanted to do?"I asked.

"Oh well, while I was looking for you I passed by this cute stall. It was one of those balloon games but it had really cute stuffed animals! I especially loved the dove, it reminds me of the one that we saw last time..."I blushed at the thought of it.

"Sure lets go!"I exclaimed. To my surprise, she took my hand and started leading me towards it. We both blushed at first but shook it off.  Eventually we arrived at the stand.

"Here we are!"She excitedly exclaimed. I smiled as she started ranting about how cute the stuffies were. After hearing her talk a lot, especially about the dove, I decided to try to win it for her...

I eventually did... After many tries and many trade-ins she was happy with her stuffed animal dove. I smiled as we walked down the aisles of stalls. There were so many things to do!

The whole night went like this, she would look around for things to do. Fall in love with a stuffed animal, and I would spend too much money winning it for her. It was worth it though to see her smile with it.

Eventually it was almost time for the fireworks. I brought her up to a hill, it was a small hill that sat overlooking the festival. You could see the fireworks perfectly as they went off into the night sky next to the beautiful moon that shone over everything.

     We looked at each other, lovingly. I closed the distance between us and our lips touched. It was only for a brief moment, but it was a magical one.

Okay first of all I'm sry for taking so long to update, and I'm also sry for the horrible writing. I'm too lazy to change the whole chapter so hopefully y'all don't get too sick of it.
