Under the Moonlight Sky

Chapter 2

"Wait what?!" I exclaimed. Sure we weren't in the best situation but I wasn't ready for this big of a change. We had only arrived here less that a year ago, I couldn't move yet. "No."I mumbled, "No! I have friends here, I can't move yet!"I raised my voice as I took in what was happening.

"I found a job there, a job that's better than the one I have now."Levi slowly said,"Besides, its not like you have a job here anyways. Don't make me any madder about that" That certainly shut me up. If I had known beforehand I probably wouldn't have argued but still. He can't just decide that we were moving one day without my opinion. With a job or without I still should get a voice in this argument.

I stomped up to my room, I was raging mad at the audacity that Levi had. I couldn't fight with him anymore though because if he got any madder I might just lose my life today. As I sulked in my room I tried to think of what to do next. I couldn't just do nothing but at the same time there wasn't much I could do. All I could really do at this point is just go along with this and start adjusting to the changes. He better not think that just because I am going along with these changes that I am suddenly so happy about moving. There's a reason why we left that small wimpy town. And I definitely will never be happy to go back.

Back when I was little we used to live back in Shiganshina. It was an even smaller town at that time and everyone pretty much knew everyone. I had a lot of friends there too though. My best friends Armin and Eren, and my whole group of friends that I met a few years before moving. When I moved, I thought I had left my whole past behind but I guess not. You could say that I should be happy about moving to my childhood home, but I'm more worried than not. What if I can't find a job, or I can't make any friends. That would be super bad! I racked my head with worry and I thought about all the things that could happen.

Just as I thought my head was going to explode, Levi walked into my room. "Hey kiddo..." He grumbled,"I know your not happy about the change. I'm not either, but we got to suck it up and go along with whatever happens. Besides I don't think any of your friends moved out from Shiganshina. So you'll have plenty of friends if you go back". I stayed quiet for a second. contemplating my options. "What if they don't accept me tho,"I whined,"I can't just waltz back into their life after leaving for so long and expect them to be overjoyed at my new appearance."" I know you don't want to go back but I don't really have a choice. My tea shop is failing here, I contacted the old tea shop owner from Shiganshina. He said that he'd be happy to give me a job if I wanted one. I need a job to pay the bills and maybe if I save up enough you will be able to go to college". I sighed, he knew that I had wanted to go to college for so long but he didn't have to put it like that...

I've always wanted to go to a fashion designer school, I would be ecstatic about it if I could. But before this we've never even considered that an option. If Levi was to work at the tea shop back in Shiganshina though, we might be able to afford it since that was a really high end tea shop. "Would you sacrifice living there for a bit until I could be able to afford your school?" he asked "You would be able to move out when I save up enough money for that. Besides there is no way they wouldn't accept you and your amazing designs." "Fine... But you better promise me that if we do save enough money that I will be able to go to college..."I almost whispered. "Yes I promise, as long as you agree to move to Shiganshina and shut up about it." he said, laying down the conditions.

I slowly nodded my head in agreement, hoping that I wouldn't regret this decision. Satisfied with my answer he got up and walked away. After he left, I got out my phone to text one of my old friends to tell her about my move.

Mikasa: Hey sash, Levi said that I have to move back...

Best friend*-*:D:*o*!! That's great! I'll tell the others!!
