Charlie's pov:

I bat my eyes open and felt nothing around me.I jolt awake.only to find Nick walking out of the bathroom in just a towel the steam still flowing off him.I prop myself up on my hands.and stare at him.I look over to where the girls were sleeping only to find a pile of dirty clothes on the bed

I finish getting dressed and then head into the bathroom. I wet my hands and fix my hair. Suddenly I feel a cold pair of hands around my waist. I look up in the mirror to see nick. He rests his head on my shoulder I smile at him through mirror."I love you"he says and kisses my neck."I love you too"i say back

"alright let's go now"he says and let's go of me.the worst feeling ever all I wanted was to be close to him I know it sounds dramatic but it's true."waittt don't leave yet"i say and pull him back."we have to go char"he says "just a little longer"I beg.he holds my face in his hands. we were plaining on going to the Gordes the picture-postcard village, Gordes has been nicknamed "the most beautiful of France's villages"and it most definitely deserves this title. To get there you must first cross a landscape of olive, almond, and fig trees, dry stone walls, and pretty Provencal farmhouses...it is exactly how you would imagine Provence to be!
However, when after a few bends you stand facing the village, you are finally able to really take it all in! If you're lucky enough to be there at sunset, the old stone houses appear to be set ablaze for a few truly magical moments.we stand at the top of the hill gazing over it.it truly was gorgeous it was perfect in fact

it looked exactly how it did when me and Nick searched it up it felt almost unreal to see it right in front of us."it's gorgeous isn't it?"i ask Nick."ya it is"he says not being able to take his eyes off the view.we stand there for a little until I take a photo of nick standing there the sun shining on his face and his hair settled perfectly.as soon as I take the picture Nick turns to face me."no paparazzi"he says pushing my phone down.i laugh at him.he pulls me closer to him making sure no one was looking he grabs my face and kisses me.then we hear a click.we pull away.and Emily standing there taking a photo of us.she laughs and then runs away.nick chases after her shouting' EMILY DELETE THAT RIGHT NOW' to which Emily shouts back.' Nicks pov:

After walking back down the beautiful path way to the streets of France they call another two Ubers and we drive to a cafe called moody coffee roasters

we walk in and find a table to sit at,we order our food and Charlie and I eat together again and then we head back to the hotel.as we were walking back to the hotel the girls following close behind I look over at Charlie who's staring at the ground.I pull my hand out of my pocket and grab his hand holding it.he looks up at me and smiles warmly.we make it to the room and I unlock the door we all walk inside and start a routine of getting ready for bed.once we're finished we all hop into our separate beds i kiss Charlie on the head and we slowly start to fall asleep......

Time skip to two more days left of the trip

Charlie's pov:

The trip so far has been amazing we've been too Le crestet another superb village and we went on a little safari.David's been quite most of the trip thanks to Emily and I got to spend a lot of time with Nick and have had some really special moments

we're out for dinner at a restaurant right now ,the waiter comes over and asks us for our orders everyone orders and nick and I are sharing again,David gives nick a kinda smug look and somethings telling me that he's gonna cause some drama.

Nicks pov:

The food comes out and they place our plates on the table.Charlie looks at the food and looks like he's gonna die.I grab his hand from under the table to support him he looks over at me and smiles.and picks up the fork taking the first bite

I was so proud of him.I look back over the table to see David smirking at me.he looks over at mum and then whispers something in her ear.her eyes go wide and then she looks at me and frowns.I give her a confused look then she moves her eyes to we're I'm holding Charlie's hand.she looks back at me and frowns I give her another confused look."nick can we talk out side please"my mum asks "um sure?"i say and let go of Charlie's hand he looks up at me with a worried face and I walk away and outside with mum

" Nicholas what do you think your doing we're at a restaurant I understand that you and Charlie are in love but that was so inappropriate!"she shouts "what do you mean I was just holding his hand because if i didn't he would have panicked and not eaten"i shout back "what David said something else"she says."like what?"i ask she hesitate."nothing it's nothing I shouldn't have believed him"she says shaking her head "no,mum I wanna know what he said"i say crossing my arms."well...I guess you have a right to know....well he um...he said that you were...touching him under the table"she struggled to say looking down the whole time.I shake my head in disbelief "wow"i scoff "you know what I'm gonna talk to him"i say."no Nicky I don't think that's a good idea"she says but I ignore her

I storm into the restaurant mum following close behind "David I need to talk to you"i say calmly."why?"he scoffs I grab his arm and pull him outside."what actually fuck is wrong with you why do you always have to ruin everything why would you tell mum I was touching Charlie under the table?!"i shout at him " wow mate calm down it was pretty obvious what you were doing I mean you had your hand under the table right next that f@g"he shouts back "and like why do you have to share with him like I know you guys are like dating or whatever but surely he can eat by himself I mean he's skinny enough he should probably eat by him self anyway"David says

I feel my fist curl up.I wanted to punch him so bad."you know what fuck you,you know exactly why we have to eat together I don't know why you care so much"i shout "ha look at you getting all riled up can't help wanting to protect
Him because he's a pathetic.little.f@g-"suddenly my fist goes hurtling towards David's face.then he's on the ground.I grab him by the collar and punch him again.I punch him over and over.until someone pulls me off him and mum pulls David away.I guess he got a few hits in because I can feel my face throbbing.I can also hear someone sobbing.it was Charlie...I need to help him I wanted to hold him and tell him everything's gonna be ok but I can't because suddenly everything goes black.....
