Hunter

Glancing down at your com device, you heard Cid on it.

"All clear. Come on back."  She called, making you relax.

Giving a nod to the people you were working for, they understood. Jet had returned so Cid had you go way under the radar. As in halfway around Tatoonie with no devices and no real communication with anyone for a week. Meaning no way of telling Hunter or the rest of the Bad Batch what was going on. These people work with Cid and had agreed to hide you for a while. 

Climbing onto the speedster, you started making your way back. Eager to see Hunter and the others again. Stopping just outside Cid's place, you ran in. Grinning when you saw the Bad Batch. Omega was the first to see you and she ran to give you a hug.

"(Y/N), where have you been?" Omega asked, "We thought you left us."

"I had something going on." You explained, giving them a reassuring smile, "I'll try to give you all a warning before hand when I leave."

"Well, it's good to have you back." Wrecker announced, earning a nod from the others before they went back to the bar.

All except Hunter, that is. He was only watching you with his arms crossed, like he was waiting for a real explanation. One that you weren't too keen on giving him.

"So, when's our next mission?" You asked, earning a raised eyebrow from him.

"You disappear for a week with no contact." He pointed out, "You're not going talk your way out of an explanation."

You know better than to argue with him when he gets like this. The thing is though, that since you and Hunter started dating, Cid has made it clear that she doesn't want the boys to be distracted from their missions. If Jet comes around, they will probably focus more on keeping you safe. Glancing between Hunter and Cid, you decided to risk it.

"I just had to go into hiding for a while." You grumbled, looking down, "I really wanted to tell ahead of time, but Cid sent me off before I got a chance."

"Is it the same reason she put you with us in the first place?" You nodded, at his guess, "So it's this Jet guy."

"My ex, yeah." You admitted, noticing his eyes darkening some.

He was quiet, for a while. Long enough that you were worried about what he was thinking. Finally, he looked up at you as if he made up his mind on something.

"Cid put you with us to protect you. You are my girlfriend now." He reminded you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders, "Next time Jet comes around, we'll handle him."

Realizing that he actually had your back on this and that he wasn't mad at you, it made you really happy. You thought he would be furious. Letting out a breath of relief, you gave him a hug.

"Thanks, Hunter."

Echo

Setting your bag down, you collapsed on your couch with a sigh. You're exhausted from the past week. You haven't used the force that much in years. What's worse, you had to leave immediately, so you didn't have time to tell Echo. Feeling a slight change in the force, you could feel that it was an upset Echo approaching. At the moment, he's exactly who you want to see.

Opening the door before he could knock, you grinned at his surprised face before hugging him tightly. Pulling him inside, so you could talk and spend time with him.
