Hunter

Checking on everyone, you smiled at having your group together. Wrecker and his girl were leaned against a wall, both asleep. Omega was in her makeshift room also asleep. Tech was leaned back in a chair with his girl using him like a bed. On the far end, you could see Echo and the Jedi talking in hushed tones. When she looked at you, you gave her a nod, which made her give you a faint smile. It's a much calmer atmosphere compared to what you just went through.

Heading to the front, you paused when you saw Crosshair's girl sitting in one of the back seats. She was pale and seemed to be trying to stay awake. Grabbing her shoulder, you offered her a smile when she looked at you.

"Hey, it'll be okay now. You're with us." You assured her, seeing tears swell in her eyes as she nodded.

Patting her shoulder, you sat in the co-pilot seat next to Hunter. The quiet as a little awkward, but with nearly everyone else asleep, it has to be you and him flying the ship. Flipping a couple switched, you jumped when you felt him put a hand on your knee.

"We should talk." He decided, making you sigh.

"About what?" You muttered, already not wanting to discuss your relationship.

"I'm sorry." Okay, that was the last thing you expected, "You were right."

Glancing over at him, you saw he wasn't looking at you, but he was clearly troubled, "Right about what?"

"Omega needs a stable home," He admitted, "After what just happened on Kamino, we need more than just getting by on jobs. If you're willing to still help us, I would appreciate if you could help and stick around for as long as you want to. To help us settle in."

Your tried not to grin when you saw the back of his neck turn red, his way of being embarrassed. You really can't help but tease him. This is his way of saying he wants your back, but you want to actually hear it from him.

"You mean the Bad Batch want me to stick around?" You grinned, resting your chin on your hand while looking at him.

He hesitated before looking over at you, "I want you to stay, please."

Smiling, you glanced at to control panel and flipped a couple switched, before looking back at him, "Okay, okay. I won't make you beg."

Looking over at him with a smirk, you saw him pause before he chuckled and shook his head.

Echo

You're not used to this. The ship was crowned with the others trying to find a place to fit. The only one who had a place of her own was the kid, Omega. The clones' sister from what you've gathered. Looking up at her little room, you saw she was actually laying still. To still for a kid who just went something as traumatic as watching her home get blow up. Climbing the small ladder, you were going to ask her if she was okay, but you froze when you saw she was asleep. That's probably a more likely response, considering how exhausted you even felt.

Pulling her blanket over her more, you jumped when you felt a hand on your waist hold you steady, "Follow me for a minute."

Of course it was Echo. Letting out a sigh, you glanced around before following him to a somewhat more open space of the ship. Even he glanced at the others as if to make sure they weren't listening in.

"Are you okay?" Blinking at his seriousness, you nodded.

"I'm okay. The Empire didn't find out." You assured him, seeing the concern on his face grow.

"They didn't, but someone did?" Nodding, you glanced over to see Hunter's girl watching you.

When she gave you a small smile, you returned it. Somehow, she's become someone you really trust in a short amount of time. You've seen how she leads, how Tech's girl worries over everyone. This group, you want to stay with them. Watching her leave, you leaned against the wall with a sigh.
