Their Chip Activates

Hunter

Glancing around the old ship, you felt anxious. This other clone, Rex, had said that this chip had to be removed. You don't know that much about clones or these head chips. He's shown the scar where he got his removed though. Watching Tech work, you felt Omega grab your hand. Worry on her face as she looked around.

"I don't like this." She whispered as you gave her had a squeeze.

The others seemed to act naturally. As they always do when they're serious anyway. Spotting Hunter, you frowned. Something was off with him. You couldn't place it, exactly. He was watching everyone with caution though. A predatory look in his eyes like when he's tracking something.

"Omega, go to Rex." You ordered, letting her go and moving by him, "Hunter, you, okay?"

He only glanced at you before looking back at the group. Sighing, you put a hand on his shoulder. Your mouth dropping open when he shook you off. When his eyes seemed to focus on something specifically, you turned to see what he was looking at. He was looking directly at Rex.

"What are you thinking?" You demanded, catching his arm moving to his blaster, "Hunter, no."

Moving in front of him, you grabbed his arms as he aimed his blaster. Attempting to keep his aim off, you yelled as he headbutted you. Making you stumble back, before you gasped as he pointed his blaster at you.

"Traitors of the Empire." He growled, with clear hatred in his voice, "You're in violation of order 66. By law execution is due."

Flinching when you heard a blaster shot, you realized that it wasn't him, but from one of the guys behind you. It gave you enough of a distraction, you get to your feet and behind him. Jumping on his back, you locked your legs around his arms so he couldn't move them and put him in a headlock. You know this is going to hurt him, but he's trying to kill you all.

"Someone helps out." You screamed, before grunting in pain as he backed into a wall with you.

Rex was the one to stun Hunter, finally. Panting as he dropped, you glared at everyone. So, the chips are real. Time to deal with them before someone else gets hurt.

"Get him on the table, now." Watching Wrecker move him, you sat in a chair.

You head hurt where you hit it on the wall. Feeling a hand on your shoulder, you looked up to see Omega and Rex. Both looking at you in worry.

"I'm okay." You assured them, "I'm just going to rest for a bit. Wake me when Hunter wakes up."

Closing your eyes, you tried to focus on making the pain in your head leave. You don't know how long you were out, but you woke up to someone's hand on your head. Blinking awake, you completely woke up when you saw Hunter in front of you.

"Did it work?" You asked, earning a nod from him, "Good, let's get it out of everyone else's head before they activate."

Standing, you went to help Rex with the computer, but paused when Hunter grabbed your hand. A guilty look on his face.

"(Y/N), I'm sorry." He apologized, "I couldn't...I couldn't stop it. No matter how hard I tried."

"It's okay." You gave him a hug, that he returned after a second of hesitation, "I understand. You don't have to apologize. We're both okay. Let's focus on the others now."

Echo

I'm not going to do one for Echo, since they said his chip got damaged in his explosion.

Tech

Picking up the rest of your tools, you glanced up when you heard your door open. Tech walked in, but he held his head like it hurt him.
