Orlando, Florida

February 22nd, 2019

It was sunny as people socialised, walked or ate in the city. There, young vigilante Edwin-Grey or Anon walked by himself. There, he kept an eye out for anybody who would commit a crime. Though he was 17, this didn't stop him as he hacked into Orlando's CTOS systems, searching through profile and profile to keep a lookout for those who'd commit a crime.

His phone buzzed suddenly, prompting him to see a text from an anonymous account. He read the following...

(Thanks gameman01)
<[3 men are scamming people here in Orlando, selling their artworks but not giving them to buyers. Please bring them down, they cannot keep scamming people for their money.]

Anon's thoughts: Scammers, huh? They're liars who think they can get away with petty crimes... I'm going to prove them wrong. Scammers can't hide from me or justice. Maybe some "hugs & kisses" will teach them a lesson.

Now patched into the city's CTOS system, Anon searched through the many profiles of the inhabitants in search of his "prey", like an eagle flying over the deserts of Mexico. His phone beeped as it identified 3 suspicious men, that'd been detected to all be together in a hotel room not too far from his current location.

Anon: "I've found you."

He began making his way down the road toward the hotel where the 3 men were. To his surprise, the hotel is an expensive one. Meaning that the men who he was after had scammed people for quite some time to the point where they had earned a lot of money.

Anon: "What...the hell? How many did they scam?"

As he walked in, he checked his phone to try and search for the 3 men. They were on the 3rd floor, and he detected digital currency flowing into the devices, a laptop used by one of the men. The young man stepped inside, looking around the lobby as he made his way toward the elevator, hacked into its systems to send him up to the 3rd floor.

In the lift, he patiently waited, he tapped his foot as his eyes gazed at the numbers rising from 1-3. The elevator chimed as it reached the destination floor; the doors opened and displayed an empty hallway. Anon stepped out of the lift and walked down the hall toward a door in the middle where he could hear the taps of keyboards.

Curious, Anon checked his phone and noticed a nearby device. A laptop. He hacked into it, wondering who it was and was stunned to see 3 men in the room, 2 behind one man who was typing into the laptop.

Scammer: "I'm telling you, this is too easy. It's like taking candy from a child."

Scammer 2: "You seriously have to use that saying? I mean yeah, it's easy but it's cheesy as hell."

Scammer: "This ain't a movie so stop being a critic, ok?"

Scammer 3: "Both of you, zip it. Let's just try and get as much as we can for the day."

Outside the door, Anon hacked into the laptop and began to tamper with it by switching the laptop on and off. This confused the 3 men who were complaining to the man at the desk who tried fixing the problem.

Scammer 2: "The hell? What's wrong with your computer?"

Scammer: "Like I know, I'm trying to fix it."

Scammer 3: "Well hurry up. Come on!"

Back outside, Anon hacked into the door lock and unlocked it before putting his mask over his mouth and nose. With the element of surprise, the young vigilante rushed into the room and swung his baton at the scammer who was at the desk; Anon's baton struck the back of his head, knocking him out.

The other 2 scammers backed away, eyes widened and yelling as they rushed to grab their guns. Anon hopped over the bed and tackled another scammer before striking him in the Adam's apple to incapacitate him.

The vigilante focused on the third man, who grabbed his pistol and pointed it at Anon, who secretly hid his left hand behind his back, phone in hand, and caused a room blackout.

Scammer 3: "What the fuck-- AAH!"

*WHACK*

He collapsed to the ground in pain after he received 2 strikes from Anon's baton to his chest, injuring him and it left him incapacitated for good. Anon began to walk out of the room, phone in hand and began to dial a number.

Police Call Operator: "911, what's your emergency?"

Anon: "Hello, there's been an incident in the Grand Bohemian Hotel, 3 guys are unconscious in a hotel room on the third floor."

*BEEP*

Anon's thoughts: Hmph, Aiden would be proud. At least those 3 won't be scamming anyone anymore..."

He stepped out the hotel with a proud smile and walked away as police cars pulled up on site, ready to investigate the room for the "incident".
