Chapter 4

Once everyone was suited up, you went to the Training ground beta. At the end of the tunnel, stood All Might waiting for us.
"They say the pros make the clothes, young ladies and gentlemen...and behold, you are the proof!" He proudly said as the students emerged from the tunnel into the light.
"Take it to heart. From now on, you are all...HEROES IN TRAINING!" All Might cheered at you again.

You took a look on everyone's costumes, and you thought they looked amazing, considering your outfit is a bit basic compared to them.
"Wow, L/N-san! You look amazing!" Tsuyu comments to you.
"O-oh, you think so? It's a simple look, but efficient." You bashfully smile. Iida then went to you, his face was covered up with his metallic mask."Say, shouldn't you take your glasses off to make sure they don't break?"
"Oh. I thought I would have to take it off too. But these are new. From the industry my pap- I MEAN, father... works in." you stuttered nervously.
"Really? He must be special to you then, if you're wearing them now."
"He is." You smiled, remembering when you got your new glasses.

...Flashback...

You gaze at your hero outfit in your room. It was simple, and just right for you. Once you got your outfit on, you got downstairs to show your dad.

"How do I look, papa?" You asked, spinning around to show him.
"Like a true hero. You look great!" He grin.
"I should go, I'll be late."
"Wait, F/N. There's something I need to give you before you leave."

He held out a box with new pairs of glasses for you. They looked fancy... and expensive.
"Papa, what-?"
"I had the industry help me with this. After I told them about your new school, they offered this to me. Also, designed by me and my other coworkers of course."
"But... this looks like it's worth a lot! Why would you wanna give this to me?"

He held your hands, and looked at you with compassion.

"F/N, when I found out you didn't have a quirk, and you told me you wanted to be a hero, I tried everything to give you what you wanted."He explains, "And after you got into UA, you helped me push forward, not just with your dreams, but mine as well. I want you to become the hero you want to be, and I want to help. So please, accept."

You take off your old glasses, and he puts your new ones on your face. When you opened your eyes with them, everything looked computerized and with different information.

"Cool~!"
"Say hello to project ISAMU. Intelligent Systematic Optical Multi Utility. It has everything from heat visions, and magnify objects from far away, to biological and quirk data analysis!"
"Isamu? Really? ...Wait, isn't optical with an O, not an A?" You asked.
"Yeah, that's what everyone says. But Isamu has a better ring to it."

You looked in the mirror and admired the full hero look.
"You know what else 'Isamu' means?" He whispered in your ear.
"What?"
"It's a quality that every hero needs to face hardships. Bravery."

You thought on his words as your memory of this morning fades.

"Be brave, F/N."

...End of flashback...

"I'll be brave, papa... I promise..." you whispered.
"You all look good. Now! Shall we get started, you bunch of newbies?" All Might continues. Before continuing, you noticed Izuku coming with his hero suit. It was a bit... Well....

"Pfft~Mmmm... Ahem..." You tried your best to hide your laugh when you saw his suit, which resembles very close to All Might, who was now in a state of embarrassment. Although nothing you both could do about it, he IS the fan boy in the class. "He makes it so obvious..." All Might mutters, you were still chuckling.
"It's hard to not laugh while seeing him like that..."
