After a few minutes in the infirmary with F/N, the blood donation process was complete and Recovery Girl stopped the transfer. I then caught F/N moving her head slightly and shiver as I took her soft hands into mine.
"Hey, it's ok... I'm here." I whispered, knowing well that she probably didn't listen.
"I'll be sure she's alright. You hurry along to the sports festival." Recovery Girl states, I nod and leave the room. I was still thinking on the results that Aizawa sensei showed us, if it's true then what can we do?
I can't get distracted now, my next battle is against Tokoyami. F/N will be fine. I'll see her when I'm done.
Later... ~Time skip to the finals~
I sat in the waiting room to wait for my last battle against Bakugo. I was beginning to lose focus a bit during my last match. I still couldn't stop thinking about my fight against Midoriya, or when I last talked to F/N, or even my mother. How can I put them out of my mind.
I then heard the door being kicked open and Bakugo coming inside "Hey, what are you doing here? This is my space to- Ah no! This is waiting room number 2?!" He said, agitated for no reason. I just stared at him, and he got mad again. "Fine. Maybe I had walked into the wrong room, but don't think that means I'm not gonna be on top of my game, you got that?" He said with a growl walking towards me. "Midoriya.... You guys were childhood friends, right?" I asked, "Was he like that when you were kids? So helpful?" He widens his eyes, then snapped. "Focus on the match! Whatever your families problems are, whatever you're feeling, none of that matters, just make sure you don't hold back! Use your flames on me!"
Bakugo turns and walks away. Is he serious? I can't use my flames. Not again. I'll show him and that scumbag that I can win with just my ice.
In the finals...
"It all comes down to this folks! From the Hero course, Shoto Todoroki vs Katsuki Bakugo!" Present Mic announces and yells for us to begin. I quickly started with my ice from the start. Bakugo uses his explosions as fast as I could make more ice to overwhelm him until I got him a large case of ice.
But it didn't take long to hear muffled booming from inside. I was at the ready when he burst out, just to grab me by the head and flip me over. I tried again as Bakugo grabs my arm. I got distracted with a voice, "Use your left side..!"
It was my father, Endeavor. I widen my eyes. "DO IT, SHOTO!" "What? You think I'm not worthy of your fire?" Bakugo growled again. What are they trying to do? Are they provoking me to use my flames? "I don't want to be any doubt that I'm the best student at the festival. That's only possible if you come at me as hard as you can! There's no point in fighting me with the same power you used to get Deku!" He said again. So, he just wants to prove that he's the best and show off, that's all? He then raised his voice, "If you don't want to win, then why are you even here?!?!"
