Zero to Hero~Boku No Hero Academia (Todoroki x Female Reader)

Chapter 9

F/N's P.O.V

The weekend past so quickly. It felt like it lasted for only a second. I got myself ready for school, and left home. I ran into Todoroki on my way to the building.

"Hey! Todoroki-san!" I called out.
"Oh, good morning F/N-san." He said.
"Heading to class?"
"Yes. You can come along if you wish."
"Ok!"

In the classroom...

I sat down my desk and waited for class to start, everyone was talking about the dome incident for a bit... And some of them being chaotic as usual. Then I hear Mina asking Tsu behind her about who will teach class. Aizawa was still recovering, so I wonder who's the substitute.

The door then opened and we see... Aizawa sensei?!

"Morning, class." He said, his head was still bandaged up just like when you saw him in the infirmary. All of us we're worried, but he assured he's fine. He then touched another subject. Security was gonna be tight now, considering that the sports festival was coming up. We would only have 45 minutes for normal class, a 30 minute break in between classes, and the rest ofnthe school day is mostly training.

Just by seeing everyone's excited faces, I could tell their all pumped up for this big event. I remembered watching the sports festival since I was little along with Midoriya. Now, we're actually going to participate!

However, there was a twist. Some pro heroes will show up or watches from TV play out, and then would have the chance to interview a few of us like sidekicks and we get to choose who to work for. We only have 1 chance in these 3 years, and we will need to take those chances. And if we aim to be the greatest heroes of all time, this is an opportunity we can't waste or overlook. The memories of me and Midoriya watching the festival flashed back into my head.

Flashback....

I was sitting on the couch with Midoriya while watching the sports festival, and all the students participating with unique and amazing quirks.
"Woah, this sports festival is awesome!" The younger Midoriya piped while jumping from his seat.
"Midoriya-san, you're gonna get a stomach ache from all the food you ate earlier." I chuckled softly.
"Sorry. But this is too cool, I can't even stay still!"
"Heheh~ I know! I like all the cool quirks there." I stop for a second to ask something, "Midoriya, do you think... We'll go to the sports festival one day? Even without a quirk?"
He was quiet for a second, noticing my shy expression. He then stood up and cleared the pillows away from us.
"What are you doing?" I squeaked as we both were on the rugged floor face to face.

"Behold! The sports festival is gonna start! With the world's next greatest hero, Izuku! And the super amazing and talented hero, F/N-chan!!" He acted like an announcer, I was so confused. "Now, let the games begin!!"

He ran to me and started to tickle me until I could no longer stand as I did the same. "Hahahah! Hey no fair, Midoriya-san! Fine, you asked for it! Now unleashing... MY TICKLE QUIRK!!"

We would both laugh and play all night until we were both tired. But being in the sports festival was our dream, and now that dream is coming true.

End of flashback....

"I mean, I knew it was coming, but now I feel like the tension is flying sky high!!" Kirishima shouted lifting his fist in the air in excitement. "Yeah! If we put in the effort and stand out to a pro, it'll be a giant leap forward!" Sero comments.
"Wow, everyone is so fired up.." Midoriya said.
"Of course we are!" Iida then said, "You've enrolled in UA to become a hero, so getting fired up is only natural!!" I could tell he was shaking in excitement. To be honest, I didn't noticed until now that I couldn't stop fidgeting with my hands on how nervous I am.
