part 13: Double date

Sigfríđr pov

It's 12pm and there 2 bouquets of flowers. They are for Aloïsia and for me. There is a note on mine.

'Sigfríđr

I cannot wait to see you tonight. I've seen you around but I never spoke to you. You are a light to the darkness. See you tonight.

My sister shows her note from Asher to me. It says,

'Aloïsia.

I can't wait to see that charming smile any longer. The patience is KILLING ME! I miss you my dark Queen. I'll make sure this double date is the best for you and Sigfríđr.

She beames so bright and I say to my sister, "let's go pick our dresses." She RAN and comes back down wearing her dress

I look out the door and it's close to dark so we go meet the boys. I say to my sister, "excited?" She smiles and says, "I wanna see my king." I laugh and we see Asher and Syrmir fighting two men. Aloïsia yells, "get the hell OFF OF THEM!" And she uses her magic as the guys back away. I run over to Syrmir and she rushes to Asher. She says, "Asher!" As she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugs him. She pulled away quickly to examine him.

Aloïsia pov

After seeing that Asher was okay, I kissed him. I say, "thank God you're alright." I kiss his lips again and he places my hand on his chest. He says, "I'm here, honey. I'm fine." As tears threatened to come, I didn't let them. I smile at him and say, "kiss me. Hug me. Hold me. Whatever you do, do it. I want you, Asher. Truly. I want YOU. yesterday, today, tomorrow, next week, next year. I want you." He smiles and held me close to his chest. Syrmir is holding my sister as she looks scared about her wings. Asher says, "come on." And we walk to get some food.

After a while, Asher says, "I got you something." I say, "you shouldn't have." He gives me a glare and gives me this.

I say to him, "be my king? Every dark queen needs a king by her side."  And he says, "of course. My beautiful goddess." He kisses me head and I put my head on his shoulder. I see Sigfríđr holding hands and kissing Syrmir and I nudge Ashers arm to show him. He high fives me and I hold his arm all the way as we walk.

We found a beautiful archway and Asher and I dance under it. I smile widely and he dips me. We stay out til midnight and the boys say in union, "happy birthday!" And I Sigfríđr wearing this on her head

Asher pulled me aside and said, "I know we've been on little dates, but, I can't help how I feel. Aloïsia, I'm falling deeply and truly in love with you." I say to him, "who were those men fighting you and Syrmir?" His smile falls and says, "my father did some bad crimes after our mother died. My father passed many years ago but today, they're trying to make us pay for our mistakes. Those two men were the sons of the woman that my father killed." I stand there speechless and I say,

"Your father's crimes are not you and Syrmir's fault or responsibility. I don't want you to get hurt. Find some place where they won't be able to find you, Asher. Please."

He cups his hands on my face and kisses me and said, "I will be fine. I will protect myself and you if I have to. Syrmir will protect Sigfríđr too. You're my queen, Aloïsia." I smile and say, "you're my king, Asher."  He grabs my hand and my sister links arms with me as she and Syrmir hold hands.

Home

Asher hands me another boquet of black roses and Syrmir hands my sister white roses. I kissed Asher on his cheek and he turns slight pink. After we said goodbye, we ran to our shared balcony and they see us and I hear Asher, "goodbye my queen!" I blush hard and say, "goodbye my king!" Sigfríđr slightly frowns after seeing Syrmir walking away, "bye, Syr!" He turns around happily and says, "goodbye, my lovely!" I smile as I watch Asher slip away from my sight. I whisper under my breath, "I love you."
