Introduction

In a world where Fae, Demi-Fae, Crochans, Ironteeth Witches, Humans and Shifters live in peace, people easily forget about the war 20 years ago, but then there are the people who were on the front lines in the war, or a commander sending mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers into war. Let's take my family for example, my mum and dad were on the front line, it was probably the hardest war my dad and "Uncles and an Auntie" had fought in many wars prior. Now you may be wondering who and what I am. Well, I'm a fae and I'm a princess but also a hardened warrior. Now I've told you that I'm royalty, you may be wondering which royal family I belong to, well I belong to the Terrasen household. My mum is Queen Aelin Galathynius Whitethorn and my father Consort to my mum is none other than Rowan Galathynius Whitethorn.

So you may be wondering who I am well I'm Princess Dianna Galathynius Whitethorn*, I'm 16 years old and Fae, some people say I look like my dad with his pine green eyes and silver-like hair while others say I look like my mum with the build and her smallness and also the sass (but the sass just comes from the people I hang out with).

"Does everyone have everything that they need?" my mum asks frantically. "Everything is sorted honey, you made sure of that.....4 months ago" dad reassures mum. "It's also been 6 years since Dianna and I accepted the mating bond Aelin," Fenrys says smugly, "Babe did you really have to say that can't you see she's already stressed enough" I scold "But yes mum all the clothes are ready, along with the food and the last of the decorations are being put up in the streets, and if Evangeline and the girls* arrive on time then they can help finish off the ballroom and Banquet hall decorating," I say my nerves starting to fray. We had been at this for about an hour and a half and I had been up two and half hours prior, helping in the kitchen (got to eat at least) and then doing my regular run with the guards and sword practice as well. I needed some more food and some coffee and a little nap.

"Morning babe," I say to Fenrys as we pass in the hall, "Did you do what I asked you to do by any chance?" I ask nervously "Yep, I also went and got the Whitethorns settled seeing as they got here about 30 minutes ago" he stated calmly. "Dianna, I've been looking for you" Hazel called, "What can I do for you, Hazel?" Hazel is one of my best maids but also one of my closest friends,

"Just wanted to inform you that Elide, Lorcan, Dorian, Manon, Chaol, Yrene, Sartaq and Nesryn all arrived a few minutes ago" Hazel informed me,

"Thank you, Hazel*, see you later," I say.
