If I were a bird,
A robin or a jay
I'd fly to your house
And serenade you all day.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She couldn't get it off her mind. What her sisters had just told her about the Garwoods. Could it be true?
God! She knew that family was sick but not to the point of two brothers raping one's wife to death. They should both be castrated, locked away and the key thrown into the Atlantic. Everyone was well aware of Dillan Garwood's evil deeds but for some unknown reason, she always saw his brother Rush as a better person. People respected him. She'd seen him once when she was 10. He was a young man of 17.

Handsome, yet withdrawn. He was a battered but gentle soul. She'd been caught in a tree and couldn't descend cause the lower branch had snapped when she placed her leg on it. She'd escaped death by a hair's breath. He'd found her and asked her to jump while he caught her but she was too frightened. She'd refused out of fear, but she still remembered his gentle voice as he'd coaxed her.
"Do you trust me?"
She'd nodded.
"Then jump." He said. "I'll catch you. I won't let you fall and I won't let go. Never."
With the conviction in his voice, she closed her eyes, letting go of the branch she was holding. Time slowed down as the wind whistle around her and breezed lightly beat her cheeks.
And as promised, he caught her and the force of her fall didn't jerk his stance. Time stood still as he held her tight in his iron grip, gently rubbing her back to calm her.All she could hear was the beating of her heart. Not sure whether it was due to the exertion of her fall or the feel of his arms around her.

Well, like they say, it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Clearly he's cut from the same cloth as his brother.
With that thought in mind, she straightened up, putting up her most bossy look as she entered her office. Elton her PA, was no where in sight. Seems like she was going through the interview by herself.
"I wonder what I pay him for." She murmured to herself.
The butler soon ushered in the first applicant. She turned to greet him, but the sight that greeted her was shocking and striking in a repulsive kind of way. A man built like a crow and dressed like a peacock. What are the odds that he missed his way on his way to a clown show?
Warning bells in her head were ringing Crazy! Crazy!
Who in their right senses would wear a multicolored suit for a job interview? It was fashioned to look like fish scales that shimmered whenever he moved. And where those diamonds around his neck?
She hoped he wasn't gay, cause she had a strong dislike for homosexuality. This guy would have been Oscar worthy if only she was selling tickets to Mark Ryan movies.
"Good morning Ms Garton." He said all smiles. As if his halloween costume wasn't bright enough, he had to top with with a toothy grin, his crooked brown teeth on display. She extended her hand in greeting and he grasped it with his sweaty hands, showering slobbery kisses on hit.
Fighting a gag, she grimaced. He reminded her of wet dog.And his cologne. Good God! It was strong enough to have taken down the Roman empire during the Medieval warfare in the middle ages.
"My name is Irish Caveman and it's great to finally meet you."
