I knew you were there
But I didn't know your name
I called for you
But you never came
I knew it was you
But I didn't know your face
Then my soul recognized you
And our souls have embraced.

"I think Garwood murdered his wife"
This caught them off guard. A statement that posed a troubling question in the minds of everyone, yet no one dared to voice what they were thinking. No one except Ms. Elizabeth, the house keeper. A woman who's tongue was a sharp as Oredion's blade, and from whose mouth secrets poured freely like the Mediterranean empties herself into the Atlantic.
"Why would you think such a thing? Do you have any proof?"
"Not precisely. But last night, her lady's maid Georgia, ran down here saying she saw him brutally molest his wife. Since then, none of us have set our eyes on her.
At first I didn't think anything of it. Georgia was fun of disappearing off to meet one of the farmers down the lane so I assumed she went to see him. But when she didn't show, I sent someone for her and they said the farmer hadn't seen her for over two weeks. So I started thinking, perhaps she saw something that spook her. If there is anyone who really knows what happened to Mrs. Garwood, I believe it's Georgia."
"Thank you Betty, you've been really helpful. Now can you help us with any information on how we could find Georgia? Any family?"
"Now that you've mentioned it, when I hired her, I took Information about each worker's family in case there was a problem. She did mention having an aunt. I'll get you the address."
"That would be helpful. Now if you remember anything, please_"
"I'll just give you a call" she smiled. "Or better still, you could come over. My cabin's just a stone throw away. I have a thousand and one ways with which you could jug my memory" emphasis on the last statement, her eyes dropped below his belt as she fingered the hem of her dress, licking her lips.
Harper physically gaged and Myles burst into a fit of laughter. Harp had to pull him out by the collar.
"See you around, Robin Thicke" she called out as they exited and a teary eyed Myles laughed even more.

Rush watched the two detectives leave the mansion. If it was any other day, he may have laughed at Elizabeth's infatuation over the detective but he was too furious to recognize anything hilarious.
Was it possible that Dillan would have killed Rose? His own wife? He knew his brother was sick but certainly not that sick?
It was very obvious Dillan was hiding something. His nervousness was very apparent the day she was found. What ever his brother was hiding he was going to find out.
Just then a laundry maid sashayed pass him, then turned around to face him with the sweetest smile he'd ever seen.
Sweet Lord. He'd tried to ignore the luscious sway of her hips when she first walked pass, but now that she'd turned and smiled at him, he couldn't ignore the feeling of lust that came over him.
Boldly, and with a look of determination in her eyes, she walked towards him with a grace too majestic for a handmaid. It brought memories of Rose tearing through his heart. She'd left a mark on his soul, scaring him from ever looking any other woman's way. But looking at the beauty in front of him, for the first time in a long time, his body stirred.
"Do you need anything, Sir?" She asked, gazing at him innocently, but the sardonic smile that graced her lips gave away her true intentions.
Clever little wench.
