**This is Chase's mother who took him in for Sonia Ms. Ruby Douglas. She is an older lady her and Chase moved a lot, Ms. Douglas is a retired factory worker, so her social security and her husband life insurance policy is pretty much the only income they have coming in. She raised Chase right, and she did the best she could to give me a good life. Finally, Ms. Ruby settled down in Atlanta and Chase is now 17 years old and a senior in high school.

Chase- Mama!!!!!
Ruby- I'm in here son.
**Chase kisses and hugs her every day when he gets home from school.
Ruby - How was school sweetheart?
Chase - School was school.
Ruby - I know you my baby doing good but son I-
Chase sighs and says " I know what you going to say?"
Ruby - You haven't brought any girls home to meet your mom.
Chase - I feel like I'm too trusting, then once they do something I just shrug it off. It's hard to explain.

Ruby (thinks) But I feel like I raised him right but what his mother did to him early on that falls on her.

**Chase laughs and says " C'mon ma I've made it this far without bringing home any kids you have to cut me some slack.
Ruby - Let's keep it that way because my son is going to be in bright lights baby!!!
**Ruby starts to cough a bit.
**Chase grabs her some water, and she drinks it.
Chase- Mama we need to take you to see about that cough it's been bad for like two weeks now and it's not getting any better.
Ruby - What are those doctors going to tell me, that I don't already know. There are just trying to get my money, hell with them.
