Bo Chapter: Chasing The Dream

Chapter 10

**It's been a week since "the kiss in The Black Ranny." Chase has started back college which he is happy about. The girls have started grad school as well. Tara and Colin argued pretty much the whole trip while in Puerto Rico, about her hesitation on getting married. Colin decided not to visit Atlanta as often. He wanted to give Tara the space she needed. Stacey now is starting to feel the heat from Malcolm he was against her and Tara moving in together instead of them moving in together. Stacey voiced that she didn't want to be alone, while he traveled for business. Both Colin and Malcolm go to grad school where they went to college which is in New York.

**Chase is getting out of classes for today. Chase gets a phone call from Zac.

Zac - Yooo college boy how you feeling?

Chase - I still can't believe I'm back.

Zac - This time around you going to kill it I know you are.

Chase - I appreciate that.

Zac - I was calling to see if you wanted to be my wing man tonight.

Chase - The hell Zac, what about Tim dusty ass.

Zac (annoyed) He be doing too much.

**Chase laughs.

Zac - Look it's a business meeting type of gathering. The lady is bringing her sister and I just need you to keep the sister occupied. 

Chase - I can see now this friendship is going to be wild as hell.

Zac - And it's a couple of film producers that's going to be there as well.

Chase (shocked) Damn Ight bet, see you always looking out.

Zac - I got you.

**Zac gives Chase all the details about the event and his going to meet Zac out there. Chase has a suit that Zac is going to have sent over for him.

**Back at Stacey and Tara condo.

**Colin and Malcolm are in town for a business event and there all sitting around eating.

Malcolm - Baby you going right?

Stacey - If you need me to go then I will go.

**Colin eyes Tara and she rolls her eyes. It's been tension between those two since he got into town this morning. It's bad to the point Colin is staying at the four seasons.

Colin - Tara can we talk?

**Tara and Colin get up and go in her room.

Malcolm - I see it's still bad.

Stacey - I think they will come to an understanding sooner than later.

Malcolm- What about us?

Stacey - I thought we were good.

Malcolm - I mean you get this place and now you and Tara are acting like single women.

Stacey (annoyed) If we going by the book, we are both single until we say "I do."

**Malcolm is irritated now.

Malcolm- How long do you plan on staying with Tara.

Stacey (annoyed) This is a year to year lease. After that we can, see?

Malcolm (annoyed) - When do you want to get married a year, after grad school. I'm curious because your friend Ariza is getting married in a couple of months, but you and Tara are more career women.

Stacey (annoyed) Meaning?

**Malcolm takes a deep breath and says " I'm going to be making good money, you working you won't have to worry about."
