Chapter 13

Elena

I told Elijah everything as we drove to New Orleans. He told what happened after I was sent back in time and when Bonnie brought me back.

"We thought that we would never see the two of you again. Hope is going to be happy to have Philip around. " He put his hand on my belly.

"Hope? Who is hope?" I asked.

"Why don't you asked Nik." he said as he pulled into a garage.

"Can you get them all together so I can do it all at once." he nods and is back in just a few minutes.

he nods again telling it's time. I walk into the house and everyone was turned away from me. When the door closed they all turned around. I see Nik right off. he looked at me with no emotion.

"Brother, I must said you finding me the doppelgänger is ever thoughtful so we can call this even." he said In a hash tone.

"Even!" Elijah yelled. "we will never be even till you have the curse lifted." I grab his arm.

"Elijah calm down." I said softly.

Elijah loosens up and stops yelling. Nik laughed.

"Please tell me she is not like Katherine all over again." he laughed and this out raged me.

"Katherine! I am nothing like her and you use to know that but I am not seeing the Nik I know. All I am seeing is the monster you have became. I can see the cold hated beast you have become and I hate him! I could never love this side of you. I have something for you since you like old valuables." I yell at him. And throw the bloody dress at him. I turn to walk away when I remember something and turn back. "and you killed my aunt!" I yelled feeling a tear roll down my cheek.

His face softens and a tear falls from his cheek. He grabs me in his arms and kisses me. his kiss was soft but not the same. he looks down at my belly and than holds it with both hands and kisses it to.

"Is it really you?" He asked in a shaking voice. I nod.

A girl runs up to me and wraps me in her arms. I push her back softly and she laughs.

"I forgot I'm not in my body but us girls still have to stick together." She said.

"Rebekah!" Yell and pulled her into a hug.

"Um so who is she and why am I here." a teenage girl standing by and two girls and a man asked.

"She's my wife." Nik said just loud enough for them to hear.

They all stair at me in shock. I hear a baby start to cry and I see a beautiful baby girl that looks just like Nik. Hope!

"I am guessing this is hope and you told me to asked Nik who she was because she is his baby girl." I say as I pick her up from her playpen.

"Yes." Elijah said.

"How? what is she like a year old?" I walk over to Nik.

He smiled at hope and she light up when she saw him. I am taking this a lot better than I should be.

"When I became a hybrid my wolf side was able to have kids and this beautiful little girl is the product." he said as hope reached for him to get her.

"And her mother?" I asked looking back at the to girls and they all shook there heads no.

"Yes Niklaus where is hopes mother?" Elijah asked.

"I had a curse put in her." He said Glaring at Elijah.

"Why?" I almost yelled.

"Because she was going to talk hope away from here to keep her safe." Elijah said.

"No she was taking her way from me!" Nik yell turning in Elijah.

"Nik, would have hope been safer if she left." I asked in a calm voice.

"No." he said. "she would have been safer here, where her family can keep her safe." he said.

"But not all of her family is here." I tell him. "What is her name? And where can I find her." I asked Elijah.

"Hayley and in the woods." Elijah tells me.

"Elijah and Nik, you to stay her and explain to those poor shocked people over there and Rebekah you are coming with me and hope." I say and walk out of the house.

"Where can I get a witch that can fix the curse?" I asked Rebekah.

"Wait here." she runs back into the house and comes back with a girl.

"Elena this is Freya." Rebekah said. Me mouth dropped.

"Oh my god how are you alive?" I asked her

"It's long story. who are you?" I asked.

"Your sister in-law. it s long story." I said. "can you remove the curse on Hayley." she nods

"Klaus wont be happy with me doing so." she said in a careless tone.

"dont worry about Klaus, I can handle him. Hopefully we can get Nik back so he wont be around much longer." I tell her, then we leave to go find hayley.

When we get to the wood I tell Rebekah to stay in the car because if she comes it could feel like a threat to the pack. we walk out into the middle of the woods and stop.

"Hayley, I need to talk to you. I have hope and Freya, I just want to help. But you have to come out." I yell as loud as I could.

Two wolves stepped out from behind some trees after a minute.

"Hayley, look I have hope. She is ok." I said as I got on my knees as graceful as I could with a big belly and a baby in my arms.

A wolf walked over and sniffed hope.

"I want to break the curse, if that's alright with you." I said to her.

She did what looked like a nod and I got up and Freya took my place she said a few word and than Hayley changed into a human. I gave her my over shirt, it was long enough to cover everything but still not enough. then she grabbed hope and hugged her.

"Hey baby girl. It's OK mamas here. I've missed you so much." she told hope. "who are you and what do you want."

"I'm Elena Gilbert." I said.

"Elena? The Doppelganger? The one that Klaus ripped his way through mystic falls for." she said shocked.

"Yeah and I don't want nothing from you but for you to come with me so we can get you clothes and some food."

She nods and we walk to the car.

We drive to the house and go inside.

"Elena!" Nik yells Angrily at me. "Where have you been?" I glare at him.

"You will not yell me! I will not be treated that way. Are you really that far gone? It doesn't matter, I will not be treated the way Mikael treated me ever again. Do you understand me?" I yell back at him. He loosened up some but he held his glare at me then he nods.

I walk on in and Freya and Rebekah walk in.

"Hope! Where is she!" Nik asked through clinched teeth.

"She's ok Nik, look." I pointed to Hayley as she walked into the house.
