Chapter 9

Elena

It's been 6 months since Nik asked me to marry him and a year and a half since I was sent here. Esther has not told about my black mailing her or where I am from. Elijah is madly in love with me and I keep trying to tell him that he is like a brother to me and that I am in love with Nik but he refuses to take no for an answer, even after Nik almost beat him to death. Kol and I are really close. He is my life saver, I could not live with out him. Rebekah is my best freaking friend, she is just like Caroline. Henrik is so fun to hang out with. He is funny and loves to play pranks on people.

Rebekah and Esther are making my wedding dress and I have all the men working on the décor. I am making them create the twilight wedding but more realist and more me. I will be Mrs. Mikaelson in three days.

I was pulled behind a bush and I saw that it was Elijah.

"What are you doing Elijah? I don't have time for this I have my wedding to plain." I said frustrated.

"I just wanted to tell you, I am done fight for you. You are going to be my sister in-law and I can see how much you love my brother. I am sorry for what I have put you through." He was tell the truth.

"It's OK." I said after walking back to the trail.

"I have found someone that I really like, Elena. I hope she is the one." He tells me before I walk off.

I am happy he found someone because I don't know how this family would survive if he kelp going after his brothers wife.

This is the last night of me sleeping alone. tomorrow I will be the wife to the man I love. I dress for bed than tell everyone goodnight before laying down in my bed.

"I am going to miss you sleeping in here." Rebekah came into our room.

"I know. I'm going to miss it. but you can come over sometimes and I can come over sometimes." I told her.

"I'll give you two a few months before." She laughed.

"Yes that might be a good thing cause I don't know how happy Nik would be if his little sister joint us in are wedding night." I laughed.

"Ew." she joked.

"Goodnight Rebekah."

"Goodnight Elena."

I wake up to find Rebekah still asleep. I sit up with the biggest smile on my face. Its my wedding day, I can't be leave it. I can't but think about what Nik is feeling and thinking about. I stand up and get dressed before walking out to eat. when I get to the kitchen I see the wedding cake. It is just a two layered pound cake.

"Is their any eatable flowers near by." I asked Kol.

"Yes, why? Is that what you really want to eat on your big day?" he ask shocked.

"No I was going to put them on the cake." I laugh.

"Why?" He asked turning his head.

"Because it will make the cake pretty. Now are you going to show me." I give him a pouting look.

He nodded and walks to the door, opening it for me. We walk out of the house and into the meadow, right beside the house. This is the meadow Nik asked me to court him in. Kol points to some flowers.

"The purple, yellow, and orange colored ones are eatable." I bent down and picked two of each.

I whispered sorry to the flower as if that would help. We went back to the house and I places the flowers right in the middle. It's not the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen but it was mine and that make it priceless.

"You were right it does look better." Kol said.

Kol made me some breakfast before sending me to my room to wake Rebekah and to get ready.

I woke up Rebekah and she helped me in to my dress. The short sleeves were made of lace and corset formed around my breast perfect. The dress fit my form till it got just above my hip than flared out like a princess dress, it also had a long train. From not having a straightener my hair has gotten it loose Curls back so Rebekah put it up into a bun and let pieces fall out. She put some kind of power that make my cheeks pink, it looked just like blush. She than put on something that looked like dark eyeshadow on my eye lids. I looked into the mirror that she held up and I looked beautiful.

"Do you think he will like it?" I asked shyly. I don't know why cause she is like my sister now but I felt weird about asking.

"If he does not than I will beat him with a stick because he has lost his mind. you look beautiful." She sat down the mirror and hugged me.

We walked into the living room and I meet Kol at the door. He's mouth dropped. I know that Kol has never thought of me more than a sister but now from Kol reaction I now know that Nik will love it.

"Do you think I look OK?" I asked looking down at myself.

"I... um... you... um..." He stopped and just nodded.

We all laughed at his ability to not speak. We talked for a minute and then once everyone was ready we started to walk to the far meadow that the girls was camping in when I first got here.

I see flower everywhere! Chairs and table are set up neatly will beautiful cloth covering them. I see a isle and chairs on Both sides. I had told them how I wanted it and they got it right.
