and only after finishing this did i realize he has the same name as the csm ponytail guy😭 i just went to a name generator and liked it

ishikara aki is a 20 years old photographer, who became popular due to his 'artistic vision' (as the news reporters describe it), currently working under the DAI MEDIA company. he ended up there after a few incidents and very unpleasant situations with other employers.

often described as eccentric by his peers, aki wouldn't agree. sure, his style is definitely a bit unusual, but personality wise he likes to think he doesn't stick out that much.

platinum hair and dark eyes make for a striking appearance. aki likes to think of himself as a decently pretty person (he sorts people into handsome and pretty, and he believes he's more on the pretty side), and isn't very self concious about his appearance. he stands at about 5ft8 and a half inches. his wardrobe consists mostly of hoodies and casualwear, with occasional t-shirts for fancier occasions. his biggest concern is that he stays comfortable in whatever he wears, so he doesn't wear it as often. and he also sometimes wears nail polish which earns him weird looks but oh well, he cannot be bothered to change it.

contrasting to his annoyed resting face, as a character, aki is very agreeable. he's perhaps one of the most talkative and social people you'll ever get a chance to meet. communication is definitely his strongest suit. be it talking to little kids, his boss, or a grandma on the street, his charming demeanor makes him very likeable. sometimes his mother jokes about him picking the wrong occupation, that he is a perfect fit for an idol. charismatic and able to sweep everybody off their feet. he disagrees, of course. mostly because he cannot sing or dance for the life of his. besides, he doesn't do too well when put in front of a crowd, his whole charm bases off the way that when talking to someone, his full attention is on that person. he cannot devote his attention to every single person in a crowd! that's absurd!

some label him as a flirt or as a player which really isn't right. they mistake his way of talking with flirting, which is very wrong since all his smoothness and rizz disappears the moment he actually has the intention to flirt with somebody. unless the stars aling and he magically gets over it somehow. but it usually doesn't last for long before he's back to being helpless again. it's incredibly funny but it ends up giving the wrong impression to the person he likes and makes him hopeless, on top of already being helpless. while we are on that topic, aki is a hopeless romantic. flowers, handholding, watching movies together...he's a sucker for it all.

onto his backstory, he grew up with his mother, his parents being divorced since he was young. he had a pretty good childhood, aside from some of his classmates calling him homophobic slurs (which his mother solved swiftly and with a few words). the truth is they were just angry he got more girls than them🙄. anyways, yes, he's been in a few relationships before but none have ever really ended too well. he doesn't know how he does it, but he succeeds to continuously choose people who will either manipulate him, cheat on him or both. he hopes he grew out of that phase by now, but he's still a bit cautious, at this point not even really liking it when he falls in love, but just being afraid he'll get hurt again.

he's been in the industry for about 2 years or so, and was discovered after a contest that he signed up for and won. famous for his 'innovative ideas' as people like to call them, he now has many job offers, and sometimes takes up the one-time ones, but decided to focus in being a photographer for the idols. he likes working with people his age, it's rather fun and he actually looks forward to going to work!
